The top finger position.
Using the breath,
Let's begin with a long inhale in,
Hold and then exhale slowly.
Using the breath as you guide,
Let's begin with a long inhale in,
Hold and exhale slowly.
A long inhale in,
Hold and exhale slowly.
Inhale in,
Hold and exhale slowly and relax into your body.
Now relaxing all control of your breath,
Follow a natural ebb and flow,
A rhythm.
With each breath,
Allow for space to open in your body,
Starting with your head,
Relaxing your eyes,
Fill your palate with your tongue,
Allowing your jaw to relax,
Your neck,
Your shoulders and now at your heart,
Bring a loving breath in and exhale slowly.
Now your stomach,
Inhale and expand like a balloon and now with each exhale,
Relax a little deeper,
Allow yourself to dissolve a little further.
Now bringing your attention to your hips and your back,
Breathe in,
Breathe out and relax.
Imagine the sound washing through your body like the breath.
Relaxing your legs and your feet.
Start to notice any sensations or feelings throughout your body,
Allow them to be there.
There's no need to be distracted by them,
Just allow the flow through your body,
Always focusing on the in breath and releasing on your exhale.
As one of the most important elements nourishing all life on earth,
Water is at the very core of our physical composition.
Its unstoppable flow also mirrors this internal world where we experience this flowing current of life,
Energy and love.
This element is one of our greatest teachers and challenges,
Always reminding us we have the ability to be fluid by being open with our hearts and also being able to let go.
So together through this meditation,
Focusing on the inner flow,
We're guided with these sounds of these singing bowls which connect us to our heart,
To our solar plexus and our core of our stomachs,
Our throat which is connected to communication and our third eye which is also connected to knowing.
If any thoughts arise you can easily begin again just by noticing the moment when they arise and reset by focusing on the breath in and focusing on the exhale out.
Try this.
On the exhale,
Enjoy the feeling of really letting go.
Enjoy the feeling of really letting go.
Coming again to the breath.
Imagine your stomach inhaling like a balloon expanding outwards and outwards.
And letting go slowly,
Dissolving.
Ending this meditation with a quote from Buddha,
This is a beautiful thing to take forwards into your practice and your day.
Just focusing on the inward breath and outward exhale at any moment will allow you to find that place of flow and ease.
The quote is,
Life is a river always flowing,
Do not hold on to things.
Breathing and breathing sound.
