So often we forget how to quiet the mind, how to breathe, how to truly connect. We wait for a better day, one with more time. Yet in this gentle sharing, time is created. Space opens, calm arises. And if we listen closely, we will hear the body whispering its simple request, that we honour it with stillness

Welcome.

Have you ever noticed how your body can be still but your mind keeps going?

Planning,

Replaying,

Fixing,

Figuring it all out,

Or at least it's trying to.

We've become so used to the noise we forget what quiet feels like.

But just like the body needs rest so too does the mind.

Not just a break from scrolling or zoning out in front of its screen but real nourishing downtime.

A time that creates space.

The kind that lets your thoughts soften and your breath deepen.

Sometimes I find my greatest clarity and inspiration drops in after I let go of the need to think something through and rather just dissolve into an empty mind giving the inspiration room to rise up from within.

A few minutes of lying on the floor or laying on the grass gazing at the sky with nothing to solve and just a big blue open sky.

Sometimes a walk in nature.

Sometimes it's breath or moving on my mat.

It can be cooking.

It can be whatever you want it to be.

I know for me when I have the intention of creating space of no thought of just allowing my body even if it's moving be free of past or future it seems to open something magical from within.

These small pauses recalibrate more than we realize.

It's not about doing nothing.

It's about letting the mind have a moment to simply be.

In the moment,

In the presence,

In the breath.

Let's share this together.

Notice your breath.

How does it flow in?

Notice how it changes.

How it your body expanding the ribs and chest.

Now as you exhale feel the release.

How the body seems to have its own ebb and flow like gentle ocean waves lapping the shore.

Your breath touches the inner and the outer body as a wave of life force.

No need to change the breath.

Just observe it.

Feel.

Immerse.

If this feels foreign or uncomfortable you're not alone.

If your mind has a thousand thoughts it's okay.

Let them pass by and gently come back to noticing the subtle changes as the breath flows in and out.

The wave of life force in and out.

Creating space or having a quiet mind doesn't always come easy to me either.

But one thing I know is it is so worth showing up for the self-care each day and how essential it becomes once we feel the power of its gifts.

What magic might you feel if your mind felt less crowded?

You're breathing anyway.

The difference now you're beginning to notice and that is a gift of life itself.

Thank you for sharing space.
