As we begin this podcast,

My suggestion to you is to find yourself in a seated position,

Whether that be on a chair,

With your back against a wall,

Or however you find it comfortable to be able to find stillness in a seated position.

If you would prefer to lay,

You are welcome to do so,

But my references during the podcast will be as though you are seated.

This beautiful visualisation is able to be done at any time,

Anywhere,

With your eyes open or closed.

The main thing I would suggest to you is that you feel your way through this,

Don't think it,

For it is in the feeling where the deep release is found.

Once you are comfortable,

Adjust through your body until you feel the ability to find that stillness.

And as you breathe in,

Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

And again in through the nose and as you breathe out through the mouth,

Give yourself permission to let go a little deeper.

And again once more,

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

And then return to your normal breath,

Breathing in and out of the nose if you can.

And gently close your eyes and allow your mind to follow the breath.

If your mind wanders,

Just smile at whatever thoughts that are there and acknowledge that they are of a time in the past or the future.

Because right at this moment,

You are here,

Breathing in stillness.

Thank the thoughts and like clouds in the sky,

Give them permission to drift into the distance.

And you gently allow your awareness to drift to your crown.

And you breathe in.

And as you breathe out,

Feel the tension melt from your body.

Feel the tingling,

The sensation on the crown.

As you free it from its tension,

Its tightness,

Its heat.

Keep breathing,

The breath flowing in and out of you.

Every inhalation,

The awareness of the crown.

And every exhalation,

A melting away of the tension.

And you gently drift your awareness now down around the eyes.

And again,

You feel every exhalation emptying the tension that you feel.

And again,

Your awareness gently drifting down now to the jaw,

Like you are emptying a cup of water,

As though it is leaking from the bottom of the cup.

Breath by breath,

You are releasing the tension that you hold in your body,

The tightness,

The busyness.

And you feel as you exhale,

Your jaws soften,

Your tongue relax.

And you drift down into the throat area.

And you find it easier to breathe and to swallow as you let the tension melt away.

The next breath taking you down in the awareness of your chest.

The exhalation melting the tension of the shoulders and you feel the shoulders drift away from the ears.

You feel your heart lift.

Drifting down now to the ribs,

The waist.

Noticing if the belly is moving out as you breathe in and moving in towards the spine as you breathe out.

And you pause here and you notice the difference between the top half of your body and the bottom half.

You feel the expansion of energy where you have released the tension,

A softness,

An openness.

And with the next exhalation you drift down into the hips.

You feel the tension has left the spine.

Feel the hips let go of the trying.

Feel them free.

Feel your energy freeing to dance with life,

To dance with the universe.

The sense of freedom and strength and clarity flows through you.

The sense that you are not your situations in your life but so much more.

And as you breathe in it reminds you of this,

That every moment is sacred.

Every moment is a blank canvas on which to paint your life.

And you give your body permission to let go of the stresses of yesterday.

To let go of the uncertainties of tomorrow.

Be fully present with your body as you exhale and the tension melts from your legs.

You feel the freedom.

The breath is able to flow easily in and out of you,

Nourishing every corner of your being.

The prana in your body and in your aura expanding in light and in love.

Feel the stillness.

Calm the stillness.

Slowly as you are ready,

With your eyes remaining closed,

Feel where your body is.

Feel where it touches the surfaces.

Imagine the room or the area in which you sit.

So then gently bring your chin towards your chest and breathe in a little deeper.

And as you breathe out,

Gently opening your eyes,

Seeing the ground before you,

Grounding you,

Awakening you,

Supporting you.

And you begin to stretch out through your body and you feel the ease at which you can stretch,

That much of the restriction is gone.

Fully awake,

Fully grounded and free to dance with life.

This technique can be used as a simple flow of breath,

Of inhaling with the awareness of the crown and exhaling,

Imagining the breath moving down through the entire physical form and melting the tension back into the ether.

Your breath will always lead you home.

It will always set you free and it will always support living the greatest you in the most important moment in your life.

The one that you are living and breathing right now.

From my heart to yours,

Thank you for sharing the space with me and may your inner light shine brightly.
