This is a personal space for you to find some peace in whatever challenging situation or feelings you're experiencing right now. I want you to know I'm with you. It's going to be okay. These are difficult things to go through, and when we're in them, they feel like everything. So the greatest thing we can do is give ourselves something that helps. That's what we're doing now. You and your feelings are in the right space.

Welcome my friend.

Thank you for being here.

This is a personal space for you to find some peace in whatever challenging situation or feelings you're experiencing right now.

I want you to know I'm with you.

It's going to be okay.

These are difficult things to go through and when we're in them they feel like everything.

So the greatest thing we can do is give ourselves something that helps.

That's what we're doing now.

So settle in and find a comfortable way to rest your body and to be present.

And just feel into the gentle rhythm of your breath moving through your body as you bring your awareness inward.

Whatever you're feeling,

However your body is feeling,

Offer it the simple rise and fall of your breath.

That steady,

Reliable motion that's always here for you.

Right now in this moment there's nothing to fix.

Nothing to solve.

Nothing even to understand.

Nothing to do but be here.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale let your body soften and release its weight to the earth underneath supporting you.

And now gently bring your awareness to your heart,

Your own precious heart.

It's a living space within you.

It has many territories and chambers.

It's a landscape with different regions and each holds something meaningful.

Each part of your heart is welcome in this moment.

Even the parts that feel uncomfortable to you,

Sticky,

Icky,

Tender,

Aching.

Feel how your lungs right next to your heart are supporting it,

Supporting your feelings as you breathe in and breathe out.

Your heart is offering this gift of air.

Steady,

Reliable.

Welcoming you.

And as you breathe sense the place within your heart that carries the weight of this situation.

Is there a place that perhaps feels tight,

Heavy,

Pressurized?

Maybe there's a sadness here or an uncertainty or longing.

However it appears let yourself step fully into this space.

Not to be overwhelmed but to be kind.

To acknowledge something is feeling something here.

Something is hurting or struggling.

And you might take your hand to that place too affirming your support.

Affirming that it is supported indeed by life as you breathe gently into this place.

You are safe.

You are supported.

This part of you is not wrong.

It's not bad.

It is not something to push away.

It is simply a part that is feeling and it's allowed to feel.

And so for a moment as you breathe here simply be with this feeling.

Offering it your full presence.

Sensing with your hand over your heart warmth,

A steady pulse.

And letting this be an energy of kindness,

A gesture of kindness to yourself.

And silently inwardly offer words of understanding.

I see you.

I hear you.

I'm listening.

And I'm here.

I know this is hard.

It is safe to feel this.

I see you.

I hear you.

I am listening.

I can feel you.

And feel for you.

I know this is hard.

And you're not rushing this part of you to feel better.

You're simply letting it exist with all the space and all the compassion it needs.

And now slowly and gently shift your awareness to deeper within you.

Somewhere deep within you.

Perhaps it's just beside this place of feeling or slightly above it or below.

There is another space.

A quiet,

Knowing,

Kind,

Honouring space.

A gaze that doesn't see right or wrong.

A gaze that never humiliates you or judges you poorly.

A place of wisdom and peace.

Infinite perspective,

A higher gaze and deep gentle knowing.

It is a part of you that is never shaken and you can anchor into this part.

This is a part that knows without needing to explain or justify.

Let yourself arrive into this space.

Deepening your breath here.

Feeling the shift as if you're stepping into a peaceful open clearing.

A space of beauty and presence in which you feel good,

Safe and free.

And from here you can see the part of you that's hurting but you're not consumed by it.

Breathing in and breathing out.

You can hold it with love.

You can offer it comfort.

From this peaceful higher space,

This deeper space,

Let yourself send soothing words back to the part of you that's feeling troubled.

I am here with you.

I will not leave you.

Everything is okay.

Breathe in the peace of this space.

Here there is no urgency,

No need to know or fix.

Only the quiet assurance that you are already whole.

You are good.

You are enough.

You are safe.

From here you can see that this situation,

This current challenge doesn't define you.

That you are vast and resilient and deeply loved.

There is a space beyond this.

It will not be here forever.

And when emotions rise again,

Because they might,

This is a space you can step into.

Sending compassion as often as you need.

And the more you do this,

The more you will find you are able to move through this current storm.

Come out the other side to the calm and the lightness and feel your growth too.

There is something new,

A gift beyond this.

And that will reveal itself to you.

Because you have been able to be with yourself in this wise and skillful way.

That helps you process and integrate and move energy.

Helps you cross a bridge to the other side of all of this.

Feeling better and lighter and stronger.

Hold faith in that.

In that future.

And in this practice.

In this kindness.

You can stay here for as long as it feels right.

Resting in this balance.

Whenever you are ready.

You can take a big breath in.

And a long breath out that is letting go of what is not yours to carry.

You can bring your awareness back to your surroundings.

And wiggle your fingers,

Your toes and anything else that feels right.

And as you complete this practice.

And move into another space.

I hope you feel better.

I hope you feel held.

I hope you feel like there is an anchor,

A lighthouse.

To guide you back.

A place for you.

To help you and support you.

You are steady.

You are held.

And you can always return to the peace that lives within you.

And you are supported in that always.

Everybody is.
