Welcome to this meditation for self-love and acceptance.
So this will be a nice gentle meditation where we explore the idea of self-love and how to feel more love for yourself in your life.
So start by getting really comfortable finding your chosen position.
You can either be seated,
Cross-legged or lying down on your back with your legs outstretched and your arms alongside your body with your palms facing up towards the sky.
And make sure you find that perfect place of comfort and ease as you take a nice slow deep breath in and exhale completely.
Inhaling fully is an act of self-love.
So draw the breath deep down into the body as you breathe in and then pause at the top of the inhale to feel that love.
And exhale release.
Relax as completely as you can.
And just recognise any areas where you may be holding tension.
For them a breath and allow those areas to soften too.
Relax your face,
Forehead and relax your mind.
Release any gripping or clinging on.
Just soften everything.
As you slowly shift your attention down from the mind to the heart.
Come to rest in this stillness.
And the busyness of the mind.
Letting go of the labels,
Stories and judgements.
You are not your name,
Your job,
You are not how much money you have in your bank,
You are not where you live,
You do not need to be anything else or somewhere different.
You have permission to simply be you.
Just notice everything as it is,
As you sit with all of yourself.
Knowing that you are enough.
You have always been enough.
Enoughness is who you are.
See what that feels like,
To know in your bones that you are enough exactly as you are.
Let's repeat a mantra.
As you breathe in mentally repeat to yourself,
I am enough.
And as you breathe out,
Just let everything go.
Breathe in,
I am enough.
Breathe out,
Let it all go.
Continue breathing like this for the next minute.
I'll let you know when it's time to come out.
I'll let you know when it's time to come out.
Last few moments here.
Really nice,
And let go of that breath,
And just tune into that sense of stillness,
That peace,
That acceptance that lies within.
That is always present.
Sometimes you need to stop and take a breath in order to feel it and remember.
And you can repeat this mantra as you move throughout your day,
I am enough.
You can put it on post-it notes on your mirror,
Have it as a reminder on your phone,
I am enough.
Just bring a little smile to your face,
And thank yourself for showing up for doing the work.
Thank you for listening,
Have an amazing day.
