Welcome.
Please enjoy this short guided meditation to help you close your day.
Give yourself a few moments here to get settled into a comfortable space that allows you to truly surrender yourself,
To let go,
And to be held by something bigger than your physical sense of self.
Hand yourself over to the now,
Releasing attachment as you soften through your toes,
Your hands,
Your fingertips,
And then right down into the center of you,
Space right around your belly button,
Low back,
Hips.
Feel everything just start to unwind,
Unravel.
Fifty percent of today becomes tomorrow's thoughts.
This is why it is so important that you give yourself a few moments to properly close down your day.
Therefore,
You're able to come in to tomorrow with a clearer mind space and recycling less of today's thoughts.
Begin by bringing awareness to your breath.
No particular breath pattern here,
Just noticing each inhale intimately,
And each exhale,
Giving your full attention and awareness to just your breath.
Do this for a few moments.
Now as you're breathing,
Your eyes are not closed,
Go ahead and draw an inward focus.
And as if you are moving in reverse through your day,
Rewind yourself from now all the way through to the very beginning of how you started today.
Give yourself some time to rewind.
As you do so,
Pay attention to those moments where you get a little stuck or where you might linger,
Or those moments that are a little obscure,
Where there's maybe a missing thought.
Hold space for yourself for a few more moments to continue to reflect without judgment,
Without attachment.
There's no wrong or right.
Just give yourself this opportunity to catch up.
Continue to observe.
Once you get to the very beginning point of your day,
Allow yourself to exhale clearly,
Releasing this entire day back out into the world.
Maybe do this a few times.
If you're not already at the very beginning point,
Give yourself time to get there.
And if you are,
Really focus on your exhales.
It is often said there's so much we can learn from an exhale.
Observe what you are releasing as you focus on your exhales.
Now shift your focus to your next inhale breath.
Set an intention that each inhale you take from here on forward is a reset button.
Inhale to reset.
Exhale to release.
Do this for a few more moments.
Now go back to the very beginning of your day today and start to move through it.
Coming back to this moment where you are right now.
Still feeling a reflection of your day,
But moving through the day in order to get you to where you are right now.
Observe again gaps,
Areas that pull you in.
Observe how you feel,
What you notice.
Maybe some things you didn't realize you experienced are coming back into focus.
And as you begin to journey through your day and identify all that you have been a part of,
All that you've learned,
All that you experienced.
Give yourself a moment to celebrate how much you showed up for you.
By honoring three very important purposeful things you can be grateful for because of today and only today.
Acknowledge three achievements,
People in your life,
Process,
Experiences,
Fears that you faced,
Obstacles you overcame,
Challenges that you've accepted.
From simple to big,
It does not matter.
It is your moment of gratitude.
It is what you are grateful for.
Remind yourself,
Just three.
Take a moment to observe,
To collect these powerful thoughts from your day.
Allow these three energies of gratitude to linger and create a space for tomorrow.
Let go of everything else that was.
Three breaths to seal in your meditation for today.
Inhale to reset.
Exhale to release.
And now you may close your day.
Namaste.
