Welcome to this quick positivity boost before bed.
As we begin I'd like you to find yourself seated comfortably or lying down and ensure that the lights are dim and that you're in a safe and private place.
Begin by gently closing your eyes.
I'd like you to now just take note of your breath.
Take note of the rhythm of your breath,
The natural pace.
Are there any sensations that may come with the breath?
See if you can examine and observe any sensations.
Notice the air flowing in through the nose and out of the nose.
The texture of the breath and the raw sensations that accompany each in and out breath.
Next I'd like you to ask yourself the following question.
Who am I when I am most confident?
Who am I when I'm most confident?
See this person in your mind's eye.
I want you to establish those qualities of yours that define you as a confident person that make you feel like you're in your optimal state.
Next I'd like you to think of three little accomplishments from today.
It can be the most minute accomplishments such as brushing your teeth or cleaning the benchtop table in the kitchen.
Just acknowledge three little accomplishments.
Now I'd like you to think of someone in your life for whom you are grateful.
It can be someone that you haven't seen in a while or someone you may have seen today or looking forward to seeing soon.
Just think of this person.
Notice how being grateful for them makes you feel.
The impact they have on your life.
The value they bring to your life.
And now I'd like you to breathe in love.
Breathe out hate.
Breathe in happiness.
Breathe out sadness.
Breathe in positivity.
Breathe out negativity.
Breathe in love.
And breathe out love.
And send it to someone who needs love.
Breathe in positivity.
And breathe out positivity.
And again send it to someone who needs positivity.
And when you have fully exhaled,
Go back to your body and gently open your eyes and welcome back your physical surroundings.
Feel free to let out a smile if you want and be thankful for the room you're in and this very beautiful opportunity to sleep in comfort.
I want to wish you a good night and many more positive and happy days ahead.
From my heart to yours,
Good night.
