Hey there.
Thanks for being here.
Well,
I totally get it.
There are times when you just feel alone.
You know,
You could be physically by yourself,
Or you could be surrounded by people who don't quite get what you're going through.
And that takes a toll.
It can feel heavy,
It can feel lonely.
And I can tell you that I've been there recently.
I know what it feels like.
It doesn't feel great,
But there are ways around it,
Which is why I have created this meditation for you as a gentle reminder that you are not alone.
Not in your thoughts,
Not in your emotions.
And with this meditation,
We're going to sit together with it.
We'll breathe and we'll overcome this.
And you're going to feel less invisible,
You're going to feel more heard and more in touch with yourself.
So find yourself seated comfortably.
Ensure that your back is upright and gently close your eyes.
Begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly breathe out.
Relax a little further.
And just take notes of your breath.
Notice the rhythm at which you are breathing.
You don't have to change anything.
At this point,
You're only observing.
Just observe the rhythm of your breath.
The gentle flow of how you are breathing.
If thoughts arise,
That's okay,
That's perfectly normal.
It's natural,
In fact.
Just notice the thoughts and when you're ready,
You gently go back to your breath.
You may also feel the breath as it flows in and out of your body.
Feel the raw sensations of the breath,
Of your body moving,
Of the air brushing in and out of your nostrils.
And as you are here,
Breathing,
I want to remind you that it's perfectly normal to feel the way that you do.
It doesn't mean that you are weak.
It doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with you.
It means that you are human.
Loneliness is a very human moment that everyone goes through.
So just rest assured that you're not alone.
We're all in this together.
So just notice now how you feel.
Can you name the feeling that is lurking through your body right now?
What's that feeling?
Once you've identified the feeling,
Take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out.
Relax a little further.
For the next minutes,
I want you to take five second breaths in.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And then five second breaths out.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Just focus on that.
Count to five when you breathe in.
Count to five when you breathe out.
I'll give you a moment to do this.
And check in on your body as well.
And if any muscles tense up,
You can relax your muscles.
And keep focusing on counting in for five seconds and out for five seconds.
Take a deep breath in now.
Breathe out slowly.
Let out some of that tension.
I want to remind you,
You are worthy of love and connection.
Say that to yourself now.
I am worthy of love and connection.
My friend,
This moment will pass.
Say this to yourself.
This moment will pass.
You are enough.
Say that to yourself.
I am.
Notice how your body feels.
If any emotions have arisen.
If any muscles have tensed.
If the energy has ever so slightly shifted.
Become aware of that.
Can you relax your muscles a little bit more on your next exhale?
Just relax your muscles a little bit more.
Just imagine yourself now seated where you are.
Sitting casually.
And notice someone sitting beside you,
But it is you.
Another you sitting beside you.
How does that make you feel?
Look at that version of you.
And smile at it.
Notice how they make you feel loved and welcome and appreciated.
I want you to now welcome in the love that you get from being there,
Just sitting there.
With yourself.
Without any expectations.
No goals.
Just the two of you hanging out.
Enjoying each other's company without having to do anything.
Imagine giving yourself a big hug now.
Big warm hug.
And can you feel the energy being transferred into you?
This energy of love.
Acceptance.
This kindness.
There is no greater company.
No one will ever love you more than yourself.
You are your own best friend.
And as long as this version of you is with you,
You cannot be lonely.
You will always be appreciated and loved and accepted.
Imagine this version of you now turning into light.
Just imagine them now becoming light.
And slowly turning into this ball of light.
Take a deep breath in.
Imagine breathing this light into you now.
This light that represents love.
Hold it for a few seconds and gently breathe out.
Knowing that you filled your body with lots of love.
You have nurtured yourself.
And you filled your body and soul with good.
And lots of love.
You are perfect just the way you are.
And as long as you love yourself,
You can't go wrong.
Everything is going to be okay.
I promise.
Repeat after me.
Everything is going to be okay.
You got this.
Notice your body.
Can you feel the love flowing through you?
This incredible feeling.
You are quite a remarkable human being.
And this loneliness you're feeling will eventually go away.
Because just like anything else,
It is temporary.
Let's take a last deep breath in.
Slowly breathe out.
Relax a little further.
Feeling the good.
Your body has been nourished.
And you have restored confidence.
And assured yourself that you are okay.
