Hello,

Beautiful beings.

I'd like to bring you some information around the beautiful mantra,

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.

This is this beautiful chant that begins every Kundalini class.

It's also a beautiful way to interact with sacred energies and bow to the creative divine force within and without,

And a way to set the intention of going within and then also interacting with divine source energy.

So let's unpack this beautiful mantra and then we will practice it together.

So let's start with the first part,

Ong.

Ong is very similar to Om,

If you've heard of that,

Which refers to all that is,

The one creative source energy,

The intelligent design in the universe that connects all things.

Then we come to Namo,

Which is basically bowing to those,

Giving yourself up to those and giving sacred energy to them.

Then we come to Guru,

And Guru literally means destroyer of darkness and bringer of light.

You may think of Guru in the traditional sense that we know it as a figure that is a teacher,

But it is in the most basic sense,

Destroyer of darkness,

Bringer of light.

Next,

Dev,

Which means divine creator source energy.

And then again,

Namo,

I bow to thee.

So let's chant this together.

We will do it three times.

Begin with a deep belly breath in and then begin.

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.

Deep breath in.

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.

One last time.

Deep breath in.

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.

Deep breath in and sit with the energy you just created.

Now in the future when you chant this mantra,

Think to yourself that you are recognizing all that is and bowing to that.

You're recognizing your own creative source energy within the destroyer of darkness and the bringer of light within and the divinity within you and you are also bowing to that.

It is a beautiful mantra and I hope that you chant it often and feel the light that glows from within when you do.

Thank you for listening.
