Hello,

Welcome.

This meditation is to help you embrace conflict and find the treasure within any challenging situation you have had or you might have with other people.

Conflict is the way life invites us to look within,

To understand what the other person or circumstance is triggering in us so we can learn more about ourselves.

If we don't like what we see,

We have the power to change it if we decide to do so.

Every person is our teacher,

Especially those whose actions or words create uncomfortable emotions within.

It is our responsibility to find the golden nugget of knowledge in these situations so that we can evolve in consciousness.

While conflict is here to teach us a lesson,

It can be hard to embrace it right away.

Our mind or ego,

Which loves to be right and dislikes feeling threatened,

Will do what it can to avoid or confront conflict in a way that is defensive.

When this happens,

Remind yourself that it's okay.

See it for what it is.

Only when you accept it will the door to change open.

I invite you to adopt a comfortable position,

Laying or sitting down.

Close your eyes.

We're going to ground ourselves with the help of our breath.

Right now,

Just observe how your body moves when you breathe in and when you breathe out.

Just let the natural flow of your breath be.

You don't need to change it.

Just observe it.

And we're going to do three deep breaths.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

And one more.

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

I invite you to evoke a situation where you faced conflict with another person.

How did it make you feel?

Were you angry,

Upset,

Frustrated,

Disappointed?

Name the emotion.

If there are several emotions,

Choose the one that is the most intense.

Allow yourself to sit with that emotion.

How does that emotion feel in your body?

What is the sensation it creates?

Is it in a particular area of your body?

What is the temperature?

Is it cold?

Is it warm?

Does this sensation stay still?

Or does it move to other areas of your body?

Is it constant or it comes and goes?

Just observe the sensation.

Don't judge it.

Don't try to change it.

Let it be.

Offer gratitude to this emotion.

To this emotion.

It is just a signal to get your attention and create awareness about what is happening within.

Remember that our emotions are created not by the situation or by other person's actions or words,

But by the meaning we give to the situation.

What is the meaning you are giving to the situation that is making you feel this way?

Observe the thought and let it be.

Don't judge it.

Just see it for what it is.

A thought.

Any thought can be changed if you want.

A thought does not define you.

It is not a fact.

It is not written in stone.

It is just a thought.

You are just creating awareness of what your mind has to offer.

Now ask yourself,

What is this thought here to teach me about me?

And see what comes up.

If nothing comes up,

It's okay.

Not all answers are given right away.

Let quietness be.

It also has a purpose.

We are going to take a few moments to embrace the conflict you experienced by seeing it for what it is.

A conflict.

It doesn't mean you or the other person are bad or wrong.

You are different people with different perspectives who weren't in agreement.

That's all.

There is nothing wrong with conflict.

Quite the opposite.

It is an opportunity to learn,

Understand,

Resolve,

And create a solid relationship when doing so.

Life will not give you experiences you cannot overcome.

This experience is a gift to question your way of thinking,

Question your reactions,

And explore your emotions.

If it wasn't because of this experience,

You would not be here meditating with me today.

And this meditation would not exist either.

Everything is the way it's meant to be.

Challenging times exist to facilitate growth and the evolution of our consciousness.

Be curious about the lessons within this situation.

Explore all possibilities for growth and let your heart guide you to discover the best approach to resolving the conflict.

Whatever you decide to do will transform your experience into knowledge.

Knowledge you can utilize in the future when faced with similar situations.

Take some time to acknowledge being here.

It says a lot about how much you care for others and about your commitment to improve.

It demonstrates how much you are willing to be a student,

To learn,

And become a teacher by living through example.

Thank yourself for investing time in you and to gain a deeper understanding of who you are.

Now mentally repeat this to yourself.

Repeat this to yourself.

I understand that everything is the way it's meant to be.

Even challenging times are here to help me grow and evolve my consciousness.

I am open to seeing others as my teachers.

I am open to become a student of life.

I am open to remain curious about what lies within me,

Inviting me for more exploration.

Life will not give me experiences I can't overcome.

This experience is a gift,

Inviting me to question my way of thinking,

To observe my reactions and explore my emotions.

Although it can be challenging to let go of the need to be right,

Today I choose to be okay with releasing that need.

I give myself permission to feel angry,

Upset,

Frustrated or any emotion this conflict has steered within me.

These emotions are signals guiding me towards a deeper exploration within.

I embrace my emotions and I embrace conflict.

Now we're gonna close the meditation with 3 deep breaths.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

And one more,

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

And slowly,

At your own pace,

Open your eyes.

And slowly,

At your own pace,

Open your eyes.

And let your heart guide you to find the best solution to any conflict that might happen or that life would give you as a gift.

Thank you for being here.

Wonderful Ale! Thank you, I need to hear all of that! As a mother of two young children and a school psychologist, this was very soothing and nourishing. Thank you for reminding me that my emotions are here to teach me something and to embrace the conflict.

Ale! Me encantó ❤️ especialmente lo que dices de ver los conflictos como un regalo y una oportunidad para aprender más de nosotros. Que cierto es! Y que gran lección. Muchas gracias por compartir tu luz con el mundo ♾️✨

Thank you. That was a wonderful insight into how to view conflict. Very helpful when stuck in a spiral from a situation.
