Welcome,
I am Alegarnica.
This meditation is created with the intention to help you embrace living a different life and being different.
When we make decisions that don't align with the norms that society defines,
Self-doubt can creep in and it requires a lot of courage to stick to our decisions even when everybody around us is questioning them.
There are so many possibilities for us to live our life.
And while people can suggest what is best for you,
Only you know what is your truth and what is what you want to pursue.
And many times your truth is completely different to what your family has done,
Or your friends,
Or the culture you grew up in.
That's why courage is so needed to stick to your truth.
To stay loyal to yourself and follow the calling from your soul and your heart.
This meditation will help you nurture that courage.
So even when everybody questions what you're doing,
Or they probably think that what you're doing is not right or is not the best for you,
You still follow what your heart and soul ask you to do.
I invite you to close your eyes,
And you can do this sitting down or lying down.
Just make sure that you don't have your legs or your arms crossed.
And let your body relax.
Pay attention to your breath.
Notice how your body moves when you breathe in and when you breathe out.
And imagine that every time you breathe out,
You release any tension that could be trapped in your body.
So let's take a deep breath together,
Breathe in,
And breathe out.
Another one,
Breathe in.
And when you breathe out,
Imagine that you are just letting go of absolutely everything.
Letting go of your worries,
Problems,
Anything that is pending.
Let's do one more,
Breathe in.
And breathe out,
Imagining that you're letting go of absolutely everything that is waiting on you.
Now I invite you to imagine that you are in a train station.
It's a busy place,
It's a big hour,
And you are sitting down right in the middle of an open area where everybody is passing by.
You notice how there are people running to get to their destination.
Some people walking in a rushed pace.
Some other people moving while looking at their phones or distracted by their thoughts.
And you are there,
Right in the middle,
Sitting down,
Observing how everybody is chasing a destination,
Is rushing through life,
Is walking through life distracted and numb.
You're just observing how the whole world moves at a fast speed,
While your inner world feels like it's in a slow speed or even has paused for a moment.
You're just observing everybody around you.
You notice the sounds in the environment,
Probably some trains passing by,
Some footsteps,
People talking here and there.
Maybe you even recognize a different language from the one that you normally listen to.
Maybe you hear some music.
You're just observing the life in that environment.
And at the same time,
You observe how you are feeling calm and how everything inside you feels quiet and peaceful.
You notice how different you are living the moment versus everybody around you.
You notice that you are being present.
You are here and now.
And everybody else is absent while thinking about the past or rushing into the future.
And while you are observing yourself and you're feeling this emotion of peace and calmness,
You also notice that you feel tempted to join the rushiness of other people.
Maybe there are some thoughts that make you question,
If they are rushed,
Maybe I should be rushed too.
Maybe I should be somewhere else.
But you notice that the temptation is there,
But you don't follow the impulse.
Maybe you notice a temptation to look for your phone or to start moving or to even do something that you know needs to be done.
But even while the temptation is there,
You don't give in.
You stay in this calm and peaceful place in the here and the now,
Knowing that it's the best place for you to be.
There's no other place you want to be at.
There's no other person you want to be.
You accept who you are just the way you are right now.
Nothing has to change.
There's nothing missing.
You feel complete.
And while you sit in these emotions of calmness and peace,
You acknowledge that you are different,
That your life is different from everybody else's.
And you ask yourself,
What do I need to start doing to live my truth?
What do I need to start doing to live my truth?
And while your attention is moving towards the future while asking this question,
You know you are being present in the here and the now.
Because in the here and the now is when you also make decisions for your future.
So just stay and reflect with this question for a few moments.
Now ask yourself,
What do I need to stop doing to live my truth?
What do I need to stop doing to live my truth?
And if you notice that your brain offers all the reasons why you shouldn't do that,
Just tell your brain,
It's okay.
I'm not doing anything right now.
I'm just opening to the possibilities of living a different life,
Of embracing my truth,
Following the path that my soul wants me to walk.
And just sit for a few moments with the answers to these two questions and notice or imagine how different your life would be if you follow through these two answers that came to you.
Not only how different it would be in comparison to how it is now,
But also how different it would be from other people's life.
Being different requires courage,
But you have that courage within you.
Your soul is there to support you,
To guide you.
And the divine presence,
The universe,
God,
Angels are there to support you.
All you need to do is listen to your truth.
Whatever path you choose is a path that is meant to be walked by you,
Is a path that is going to lead you to where you are meant to be.
Move your attention back to the environment where you are in this train station when you are sitting down and observing all the people around you,
Moving,
Rushing,
Running,
Walking,
Distracted,
And send them your blessings.
And mentally repeat,
Today I decide to live according to my truth.
Today I embrace how different I am and how different my life is.
I embrace the courage of the difference in my life.
This courage is what I need to bring joy and happiness into my life.
I'm open to follow my soul's guidance.
And continue sending your blessings to all the people that are around you,
Wishing them well,
Wishing them being in the present moment and embracing their own differences,
Embracing their soul calling.
And while you are sending the blessings to these people,
You start to stand up and walk out from that train station,
Feeling calm,
At peace,
Following your own path,
Your unique and authentic path.
Now bring your attention to your immediate space where you are sitting or laying down.
Probably you notice how your body is touching the surface where you are sitting or laying down.
And start moving your fingers,
Your toes,
Very,
Very slow movements.
And take three deep breaths with me.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
And one more,
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
And slowly,
At your own pace,
Open your eyes and embrace this unique and different life that you are creating for yourself.
