Hi there,
It's Adam.
I wanted to offer a quick but effective breath technique that I like to utilize when I need just a quick moment of peace.
And it's just very simple,
Five slow breaths.
So if you want to do that with me today,
I'd really appreciate it.
And it's just as it sounds,
Nothing more,
Nothing less.
See if it feels okay to just start by finding a comfortable way to be,
Whether you're seated,
Lying down,
Standing,
Whatever.
Whatever feels right for you right now.
And then take a moment to just notice where the breath enters your body,
Maybe through your mouth or your nose.
And then how or where the breath leaves your body.
Maybe you'll notice the temperature of it,
Maybe you'll notice just the quality of your breath.
And then whenever you're ready to breathe with me,
Feel free to just exhale everything out of your lungs.
And then breathe in,
And then out.
Breathe in.
That's two.
Breathe in,
And out.
Last one.
Breathe in,
And out.
Very good.
Now feel free to continue if that was working for you.
Feel free to take five more,
Or five more after that.
Or if you're done with that,
Feel free to just set it aside and take a few more moments to just notice any differences between now and before.
Maybe it's not a big difference,
Maybe there's a big change,
Maybe nothing at all.
Wherever you are,
See if we can let that just be as it is.
Thank you for taking this time with me.
I hope you have enjoyed this three-minute breath practice.
Take care.
