When we start meditating,

It's good to make a clear resolution,

That this time is not dedicated to problem solving in the normal way,

Thinking,

Thinking.

But this time we use exclusively for our meditation.

Whatever troubles,

Worries,

Anxieties,

Regrets and so on may come up in the mind.

We are totally determined not to attend to that.

What we attend to is simply the breath,

The flow of the breath,

In breath,

Out breath,

Which is happening all the time.

Only that normally we are not aware of it.

So we just have to become aware of one of the most basic bodily functions.

Don't really have to do anything.

The breath is happening quite automatically on its own.

All we have to do is to just know it,

To be aware,

To be conscious of the breathing process.

So we know each in breath,

We know each out breath.

We settle right in the present moment.

We are here and now.

We don't allow the mind to rush into the future.

We don't linger in the past.

We are here and now in the present moment.

We are here and now in the present moment.

When the mind gets lost in thinking,

Rubbing,

Fantasizing,

We have to notice quickly and we straight away return the attention to the breath.

In breath,

Out breath.

We feel each in breath.

We fully experience each out breath.

We are here and now.

We feel our whole physical body with each in breath.

We feel our whole physical body with each out breath.

We feel our whole physical body with each out breath.

We feel our whole physical body with each out breath.

We feel our whole physical body with each out breath.

We calm down the whole body with each in breath.

We relax all tensions with each out breath.

We quieten all physical activities with each in breath.

We calm down the whole metabolism with each out breath.

Just calming,

Relaxing,

Quietening.

We are here and now.

We are here and now.

We are here and now.

We are here and now.

The body is relaxed and at ease and the mind feels happy.

When the mind is happy,

We are no longer driven by thinking,

Planning.

We can quieten down all mental activities.

So we calm all thinking with each in breath.

We quieten all wobbling with each out breath.

We allow this whole mental turmoil to calm down.

We allow this whole mental turmoil to calm down.

We allow this whole mental turmoil to calm down.

We allow this whole mental turmoil to calm down.

We allow this whole mental turmoil to calm down.

When the body is relaxed and at ease,

When the mind is calm and still,

We experience contentment.

We are content with stillness.

We are content with non-activity,

Just being aware in the present moment of the breath.

We are content with stillness.

We deepen our contentment.

So we deepen our contentment with each in breath.

We deepen our contentment with each out breath.

We are still relaxed at ease and content with each out breath.

We deepen our contentment with each out breath.

We deepen our contentment with each out breath.

We deepen our contentment with each out breath.

We deepen our contentment with each out breath.

But even if we are calm,

We shouldn't go to sleep.

We are calm,

Relaxed,

Quiet,

But at the same time we are fully aware,

Conscious,

Awake,

Alert.

So we become more alert with each in breath.

We are fully there with each out breath.

We are conscious,

Aware with each in breath,

With each out breath.

We imagine light with each in breath.

We brighten our mind with each out breath.

We are quiet,

Radiant,

Alert,

Awake.

We breathe in and we breathe out.

We are awake,

Relaxed,

Awake,

With each out breath.

We are awake,

Relaxed,

Awake,

With each out breath.

We are awake,

Relaxed,

Awake,

With each out breath.

We are awake,

Relaxed,

Awake,

With each out breath.

We are awake,

Relaxed,

Awake,

With each out breath.

We are awake,

Relaxed,

Awake,

With each out breath.

Proper Buddhist practice. No fuzz. No pseudi-spiritual blabla. Nice and clear. Straightforward. With an incredible soothing voice and authentically paced. He clearly knows what he’s talking about! My favourite go to teacher! May you stay healthy, happy and peaceful - very grateful that you share your teachings here.

Ideally spaced instructions. Let’s us focus on our own and yet doesn’t let us slip away into a thought stream. I also find his voice to be very soothing.

Following the breath my body was in a deep state of relaxation and in the present moment. So relaxing, the body melted away, so absorbing, did the meditation twice. Thank you.
