Welcome.

I am Erin Patterson,

Certified clinical hypnotherapist.

I must make a few disclaimers and address a bit of housekeeping before we begin.

First,

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic modality utilizing the mental state of hypnosis to facilitate healing and empowerment.

It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical conditions and should not be used in lieu of the advice or treatment of a licensed medical physician.

Hypnotherapy should not be used if you have been diagnosed with any seizure disorders or if you experience any symptoms associated with schizophrenia.

If you have any questions or concerns,

Please be sure to speak with a medical professional before engaging in hypnotherapy.

This audio is a hypnotic meditation.

This audio is solely for the use of the individual purchaser for therapeutic purposes and may not be copied,

Sold,

Or redistributed in any fashion.

Please take a moment to use the restroom to silence any devices and ensure as much as possible to avoid interruption.

You will want to be in a quiet place in a relaxed position,

Either reclined in a chair or lying down in a position that you can comfortably remain for the duration of the recording,

Ideally with wrists and ankles uncrossed.

Do not listen to this recording while driving or doing anything that requires your focused,

Conscious awareness.

You might want to have nearby a glass of water,

A journal and pen or pencil for after the meditation,

Your favorite blanket,

Pillow,

Candle,

Or fragrance.

If you need to pause the audio to prepare to gather any items or use the restroom,

Please note the timestamp so you can fast forward to this moment as needed and pause the audio now.

And let's begin.

Again first just find a comfortable space.

If you are sitting in a chair,

I recommend reclining.

Or you might lie down on the couch,

Your bed,

On a yoga mat or blanket on the floor,

Whichever is most comfortable for you.

Once you are in the position that feels just right,

Know that you are still welcome to move about and shift or change positions as needed.

If there is an itch,

Feel free to scratch it.

Definitely maintain keeping wrists and ankles uncrossed.

Once any need to move about seems to have worked itself out,

I invite you to observe your body as it begins to let go of any tension,

Stress,

Or other stuff that you may have been carrying.

You may notice a feeling of dropping deeper into the surface that you are resting upon.

There may be a sense of relaxed heaviness that settles in.

Or you might begin to feel lighter and lighter as the weight you have been carrying is released and you may feel as if you are floating.

Perhaps you don't feel light or heavy but you notice areas of tingles and warmth.

There may be increased awareness of your breath or your heartbeat.

You may simply experience a deepening sense of calm.

Whatever you experience is perfect.

This is just a time to witness,

To hold space for whatever shows up and merely acknowledge it.

Free from judgment,

Free from shoulds and have-tos.

There is no need to force,

Push,

Or even nudge.

Just allow yourself to notice.

Know that there is nothing that you have to do or not do.

You do not have to try to relax.

You do not have to try to keep your mind clear.

You do not even have to try to listen to me.

The instructions about to be given are for your mind.

Your own inner mind.

Your own inner wisdom.

Allow your mind to naturally and automatically respond to these words.

I invite you now to bring your attention to your mind.

Gently beginning to focus your attention to the thoughts in your mind.

Know that these thoughts are all okay to be there.

There is no need to try to force or push them away.

Expecting to force thoughts out of the mind only pushes them deeper,

Which we do not want.

Instead of pushing any thoughts out of the mind,

Observe those thoughts.

Notice how those thoughts are moving through your mind.

Allow them to come and go as they please.

As you watch those thoughts,

You may be struck by just how many there are.

They may appear in your mind's eye as static or as a scroll of words and sentences that is moving so fast they're a blur.

Imagine if you were able to pick out just one of those thoughts effortlessly without even having to try.

As if one individual thought stood out more clear than the others.

At first,

You might be aware of other connected thoughts and that's perfectly okay.

Allow your focus to remain on the one individual thought.

Begin to examine that thought.

Is it true?

Is it valid?

Is it false?

Does it matter?

Does it seem worthy of your energy or worth your energy?

What if you could choose to excuse that thought,

To dismiss it,

Choose to let it go?

With that thought gone,

You may notice connected thoughts that came up or even the same initial thought as you realize just how many of these thoughts are just repeating.

With each thought that arises,

Follow the same practice.

Identify the thought,

Examine the thought,

Question the truthfulness and fallacies of that thought.

Choose to let that thought go and allow it to move out of your mind.

While it may have seemed easy the first time that you allowed a thought to leave.

The more you practice this exercise,

Notice it becomes easier and easier.

Take a moment to practice this exercise,

Become aware of a thought,

Examine the thought,

Choose to let that thought go.

Thought by thought,

Empty the mind.

As you examine more and more thoughts,

You might notice how so very many of these thoughts are of yesterday or in the past.

Notice how very many of them are repeated.

Notice how few are truly new.

How few are in the present moment,

The here and now.

Allow those thoughts to move through the mind,

Through the mind to no mind,

To a quiet mind.

When you are ready,

Take a moment to let that thought go.

When you are ready,

Whenever it seems right,

Let that practice go.

There is no longer any need to focus on thoughts.

Enjoy the space that you have created in the mind,

Even if there is only a little space between remaining thoughts that is perfectly okay.

Let it go.

Allow any remaining thoughts to continue to move through the mind.

Allow any remaining thoughts to continue to slow down and to clear all on their own.

Surrender the mind and bring your focus into the heart space.

Observe and notice anything that seems to change or shift as your focus shifts.

As you let go of that focus in the mind,

What if there is no need to analyze but to just be,

To witness,

To hold space and acknowledge free of judgment?

What if there is no need to chew on any thoughts but instead allow those thoughts to be digested,

To be integrated?

What if your own intuition or own heart,

Your own body could tell you all that you needed to know?

If they could guide rather than having to always remain in the mental mind?

What if you could fully trust yourself and the wisdom within?

How could you honor yourself?

I invite you to think,

Feel and imagine living solely from your heart space,

Living in love,

From love,

Knowing that all that arises,

All that you experience is from you,

For you,

To you.

As you experience this in your mind,

Observe and just notice what comes up.

As you experience this in your body,

Allow whatever comes up to move through you,

Possibly like waves,

Seeming larger or seeming to come nearer and nearer as they build,

Having the briefest experience of a climax or crest as it peaks and then quickly melting away,

Quieting,

Softening,

Dissipating.

Take a moment to practice allowing whatever comes up to move through to pass by.

Notice that removing all need to push or rush or force allows you to experience without judgment.

Letting go of all shoulds and have tos create so much space.

Notice how you are able to simply be in the moment and notice how quiet the mind has become.

Compare the mind to no mind.

Now easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the front of the head.

Notice if it's positive or negative like the charge of a battery,

Just whatever comes to mind first.

If it is negative,

Please change it to positive and lock it into place.

All you have to do is think it and it's done.

And if it's positive already,

Just lock it into place.

Easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the right side of the head.

Notice if it's positive or negative like the charge of a battery,

Whichever comes to mind first.

If it is negative,

Please change it to positive and lock it into place.

All you have to do is think it and it's done.

If it's positive already,

Just lock it into place.

Easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the back of the head.

Notice if it's positive or negative.

If it's positive,

Change it to negative and lock it into place.

Just think it and it's done.

If it's already negative,

Simply lock it into place.

Easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the left side of the head.

Notice if it's positive or negative.

If it's positive,

Change it to negative and lock it into place.

If it's already negative,

Simply lock it into place.

Easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the center of the head.

Notice if it's positive or negative or neutral.

If it is positive or negative,

Please change it to neutral and lock it into place.

If it's already neutral,

Move it beyond neutral and lock it into place.

Just think it and it's done.

Now easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To your heart,

To the top of the heart.

Notice if it's positive or negative,

Again like the charge of a battery.

If it's negative,

Please change it to positive and lock it into place.

Just think it and it's done.

If it is positive already,

Just lock it into place.

Easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the right side of the heart.

Notice if it's positive or negative.

If it's negative,

Please change it to positive and lock it into place.

If it's positive already,

Simply lock it into place.

Easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the bottom of the heart.

Notice if it's positive or negative.

If it's positive,

Change it to negative and lock it into place.

If it's already negative,

Simply lock it into place.

Think it and it's done.

Easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the left side of the heart.

Notice if it's positive or negative.

If it is positive,

Change it to negative and lock it into place.

And if it's already negative,

Simply lock it into place.

Easily and gently place your awareness,

Your attention,

To the center of the heart.

Notice if it's positive,

Negative,

Or neutral.

If it is positive or negative,

Change it to neutral and lock it into place.

If it's already neutral,

Move it beyond neutral and then lock it into place.

Just think it and it's done.

And now in our wisdom,

Resolve all that needs to be resolved and create inner tranquility and peace.

Peace.

Peace.

Peace.

Peace.

Peace.

Peace.

I invite you to simply be here now.

Perhaps before you had an embodied idea of what it would be like to truly be present,

To enjoy the space between thoughts.

Now allow yourself to move beyond an embodied idea and truly acquiesce to this new vibrational state.

To experience the spark of divine intelligence that is consciousness between thoughts.

Allow a deep,

Profound knowing of what this new vibrational state is.

Allow it to resonate through your entire being.

When you are ready,

I welcome you to return your attention,

Your awareness to your body or your breath.

You will begin to come back into yourself,

Into your body.

Become more aware of any thoughts or sensations in the body.

You might become more aware of a blanket over you or the feeling of air on your skin.

Surrounding sounds may become more noticeable,

Just slowly begin to come back into your body.

In our wisdom,

Please balance the entire system,

Mind,

Body and emotions.

When you are ready,

Slowly come all the way back out.

Coming all the way back,

All the way back,

With full energies returning and integrating completely.

Coming all the way back into the room,

Into your body,

Feeling refreshed,

Renewed,

Revitalized.

Coming all the way back,

All the way back out.

Whenever you are ready,

Eyes opening,

Stretching and moving about and take your time as you come all the way back.

I strongly encourage you to drink some water,

To stretch a little as you come back into your body,

Possibly even to walk around barefoot outside.

These practices will help ground you back into your body.

If you feel called to journal,

To sketch or to create in any way to integrate or celebrate this experience,

Please honor that call.

Know that you are always welcome to revisit this meditation at any time.

Thank you for your time with me today.
