
Your Inner Summer And Inner Autumn

Superwoman! The ‘glamourous' component of the power process is the inner summer. In our culture, the part of the power is most known, cherished, and recognized. It is power. After the high energy of summer, you'll start to feel like settling down in the first half of autumn as progesterone levels climb. This is when we may get PMS symptoms, want comfort foods, and feel unbalanced or ungrounded due to mood fluctuations.

Hey beautiful woman,
We are here today to talk about your inner summer.
Inner summer is a fantastic time to get immersed into work and creative endeavor and see results.
Working now can feel amazing,
Especially if it's something you enjoy.
The glamorous component of the power process is the inner summer.
In our culture this is the part that is most known,
Like cherishing and recognized.
It's what we usually associate with power,
Getting things done.
And it is a power indeed.
Trust in life comes easily and you might feel the road rise up to meet you at every step.
So for those who didn't hear the other inner seasons,
This is episode 4 of a series I made so I suggest you to listen the other ones and you will understand a little bit more what I'm saying.
So this is the ovulatory phase.
Generally these are days of supercharged woman power due to peak estrogen levels.
And also a peak burst of testosterone as your egg is released.
Your body is saying connect me,
I'm ready,
I want to make some important connections.
Ovulation might not happen in every cycle however,
Just for you to know.
But yeah this doesn't change the fact that you will anyway have the inner summer.
The estrogen ceases to dominate,
Dropping off after ovulation.
The ovulatory phase,
Also known as the luteal phase,
Lasts actually only 2 or 3 days when your ripe follicle bursts,
Releasing an egg.
This is the shortest part of your cycle.
The egg is either fertilized or dies within the next day or so.
Your energy levels in this phase on the other hand continue to climb during the inner summer and you will often feel confident in yourself,
How you look and how you feel.
During ovulation learning to go with the flow,
Trust,
Intuition and let things happen.
It's a great time to work because it's so busy and social but it's easy to overdo things and burn out later.
So it's important to balance this pitta energy we have during the summer.
Skin is in its best condition.
You have usually high body temperature.
And yeah,
After the ovulation in the last days you're getting close to your inner autumn so the energy starts to decrease,
The appetite increases and slowly you move to a social withdrawal.
In this phase you have a special presence during ovulation.
You have the ability to conjure up your ideal work or clients.
In fact,
Everything you really want is more likely to come true during ovulation than in any other point in your cycle.
If you're planning a first date,
Do it during your inner summer.
And actually now I'm entering now in my inner summer and next Tuesday,
This upcoming Tuesday I'm gonna do a workshop all about inner seasons and how to balance it with yoga and Ayurvedic tips.
So I really try to move all around my inner seasons too.
So just to say it all about your inner power,
You have high energy,
You have sharp charm,
You have generosity.
This is a very,
Very beautiful power,
Not only for yourself,
But for others too.
It's very powerful.
You love others.
You have this visibility kind of inner power,
Like everyone will notice you on the street all around.
You have outward focus,
Optimism,
Mastery,
Magnetism,
Allowing the power of allowing and diplomacy.
This season celebrates the woman you've blossomed into and encourages you to embrace your abilities and beauty.
It's an opportunity to give of yourself,
Share your talents and be noticed and appreciated by others.
In short,
Your inner summer is more than anything else about expressing your strength in the world,
About daring to truly be true to your own nature.
It's all about presenting yourself as you are.
And that is your power.
There is a necessary task,
A sacred task that will assist you in accessing all of this incredible summer juiciness and the luck in its full power.
And this task is self-celebration.
Yes,
You are honoring and celebrating yourself.
You have to learn this.
It's very,
Very important and beautiful.
While there is a lot to love about summer's instinct personality,
There is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
So it's very important to balance this energy because too much pitta,
Too much fire inside of you,
It will bring you into anger,
Into irritation and sometimes burn out.
So it's super important to balance it.
A summer seasonal routine aims to promote diet and lifestyle practices that will help you avoid over-absorption of summer qualities while yet allowing you to appreciate the particular benefits that summertime has to offer.
So during your inner summer,
We will have to calm our fire.
In this phase,
We are oblating and we are in the best shape of our inner cycle externally.
The inner summer invites you into the fullness of who you are,
We say it,
The liberated expression of your power.
So this phase ushers in the power of being visible and getting down to manifesting your calling in the world.
You blossom,
You fulfill yourself,
Your spirit and that will look different for each person of course.
In essence,
Your inner summer is about the expression of your power in the world daring to really be true to yourself.
And in order to keep the fire balanced,
We will move on during the yoga practice on our 75-80%.
What does it mean?
It means that if during like for example the last days of our inner winter and our autumn,
We are pushing ourselves a little bit over the limit so we keep the poses for longer time and we go just a tiny bit over our comfort zone,
Then now is the time to do the opposite so we don't get to the edge of our comfort zone.
We try to do the things way more smoothly.
Otherwise,
Our energy risks to excess and we can become easily angry as I mentioned or we can easily explode.
So we can support an improved state of balance throughout the year by making a conscious effort to live in harmony with the cycle of nature and by regularly adjusting our lifestyle and habits to accommodate the arrival of each new season.
This idea might at first seem doubting.
Many people find that the recommended seasonal adjustments come quite naturally and that a few simple changes can dramatically increase health and vitality.
So this I think is very very important and as I mentioned I will make more in detail workshop Tuesday 19th October 2021 where I will explain the overview of this concept and how it helped me,
How incredibly actually helped me because after five years now since I started this program finally my uterus fibroids are decreasing,
They just kept growing since the first they found,
Then they grew more.
I probably still have five and now for the first time they are decreasing and it's just all about self-love and move accordingly with our nature,
With our bodies and yeah just try to do the best but for real,
For real,
For within.
So that said let's move to our inner autumn.
Inner autumn is a time when you are pushed to evolve and accept full responsibility for who you are.
You allow your strength to expand by holding the tension of the complexity of who you are,
The light and the dark.
You have the power of know on your side to define what is in and what is out as well at set clear boundaries.
You learn to handle your power wisely as you learn to root in your authority and align with your truth which is actually what the autumn is demanding of you.

This is when we might get PMS symptoms,
Want comfort foods and feel unbalanced or ungrounded due to mood fluctuations.
But it's not all terrible news.
The more you can stay in touch with your feelings and follow this phase the better you will understand both the phase and yourself.

Are you nice and kind to yourself?
These are all things that we should ask ourselves during our inner autumn.
So this is the luteal phase.
We say that during autumn your oestrogen dips and progesterone begins to rise.
Progesterone is a hormone which is all about slowing right down.
What is left of the follicle that has just released your egg is called corpus luteum,
A dynamic gland that is now causing progesterone,
Also known as the progestation hormone,
To build up.
Reduced anxiety,
Improved memory and neuroprotection from traumatic situation are just a few of the benefits of progesterone.
Synthetic progesterone will not help though.
They have to be natural and biocompatible.
PMS,
Which many women fear,
Is also part of the luteal phase.
It doesn't have to be that way but it can be.
Those symptoms can be overcome by accepting their invitation to pay attention to your own cycle.
So your inner autumn is a great time to write pros and cons lists.
Things become more clear.
So now is the time to make decisions you have been putting off.
You can trust your intuition and self-knowledge to guide you in making big decisions.
You can spot problems and you know what needs to be done to solve them.
It's the best time to bring out your creativity.
Express yourself.
This is the key.
I always say like if you have strong PMS,
If you have strong mood imbalances,
Just create.
We are all artists inside.
You just have to find your way to create but create.
In this phase you are also able to speak the truth and sometimes it's not so appreciated but it's also important.
The transaction is very important and often ignore because we want to keep on pushing through and functioning at the same levels of our summer.
But hormonally it's just not possible,
Not without some serious side effects.
And this is because we are living in a man world where we are asked to push to be like men and we are not.
Our inner autumn is calling us back into our bodies,
Into our truths so we can be present to ourselves and for ourselves when we bleed and administration.
So about your inner power you have the power of expression,
Holding the tension,
Truth speaking,
Channeling,
Drifting,
Discernment,
A clear vision about something,
Insight,
Saying no,
Critique,
Completion,
Letting go and losing it.
So you've been nourishing and tending to the outside world with your ideas,
Work,
Passion and output for the last two phases of your cycle and now it's time to nourish and tend to your inner world.
This phase is an invitation to become much more interested in what needs nourishment and attention internally.
This isn't self-centeredness,
It's self-love.
This phase can bring with it,
Carbs,
Salt and sugar craving.
The craving often happens when you forget to look at yourself and you don't follow the signs of your body to slow down.
On this topic you can read The Love or Diet by Annie Richardson.
She's an amazing nutritionist where she shares her knowledge on premenstrual nutrition.
In this book she explains how we should follow the signs that our body gives to be gentle with ourselves,
To try to understand the feelings behind the craving.
She also says that stabilizing blood sugar levels by eating low glycemic index foods can actually reduce the severity of PM symptoms.
You really get to know yourself in this season.
You learn where your edges are and the lines you truly need to draw.
It's brilliant time to dish out no's and mark your territory.
You've taken on the role of truth teller and what you have to say is unlikely to be well received as we mentioned before.
Your tolerance has reached an all-time low and you are not going to sugar-cut it.
Who has ever been praised for exposing defects,
Lies and hypoprices?
So this energy on the other hand is your ally in detecting what's in and what's out both inside and outside.
You are straight shooting arrow aligned with your truth so you also have to be careful to not be too harsh to others.
Like often sometimes I'm also a shooting arrow towards my husband and it's practically always during my 27th day and he can detect it immediately.
He looks at me with super sweet face and he say,
You're in your inner autumn my love.
And then I think,
Oh yes.
And you know then I cannot just,
I can't be angry anymore.
And this is also why it's important to explain to the people that lives with you,
Around you what are your inner seasons and make them part of this.
Because also they have to understand and adapt.
And you can be a pure channel in this inner season and as I said,
Create.
You can send inspiration,
Insight and understanding.
You can serve as a midwife for the unsaid and unseen.
This can be your creativity spot.
And as I said,
Like we are all artistic,
Some more,
Some less but we all are and we all have our own way to do and we should do it not for others.
We don't have to care at all about others' judgment about our kind of art.
Just do it for yourself,
Just to express yourself.
So the air element predominates in the fall and prana is abundant in the atmosphere.
This season has an emptiness to it that might make us feel exposed and raw but it's also full of possibility as we just say it now.
A time when we too can strip down to our most basic selves and appreciate the simplicity.
So in this season as you learn to root in your authority and align with your truth,
You come to wield your power wisely.
The inner autumn is the home of your inner critique.
The critique's role is well to criticize and it's this combination of criticism derived with a sting that is perfectly designed to cause disruption and disturbance within you.
To break down the walls of your protection.
In other words,
Deflate the ego so that you can grow and strengthen beyond what you have been before.
Your sacred task here is to meet this figure,
Is to hold yourself and create.
During this phase you are getting ready for the winter,
You withdraw from the external world and you can become melancholy or sad.
This emotion are all connected with the lungs and with the element of air and therefore we will focus more on our lungs and breathing pranayama exercises during our inner autumn.
So with this information I just shared you are totally able already to make some changes in your life,
