Hello everyone and welcome.
My name is Teddy Bass and I know that most of you come here and want meditation and things that calm you down but there's another part of my personality that I thought I'd bring out a little bit and that is the joyous aspect and I want you to entertain this experience with me first and foremost by thinking of something in your mind in your life right now that is creating possibly pain or upset or guilt or shame.
I'm only going to give you a few seconds just it should pop right to your head.
I mean I can think of something for myself right away and so I just want you to think about that and I want you just to put it in a little bubble and I want you just to imagine that it's like right there it's almost like you are chewing on a piece of gum and you blew a bubble and you just kind of just take it right out of your mouth and you just let it go.
You don't worry about where it's going,
You don't worry about how far it gets.
What you worry about is nothing but what you're aware of is in this moment we've invited an open space within our mind.
So now with that being said we're gonna have some fun.
So what I want you to do is hopefully you have some music that you can play that you really really love and if you listen to this maybe a second time you'll have it really timed well for yourself.
But what I want you to do is as you're sitting down I want you to take your right arm up to the ceiling and I just want you to shake it around just like shake it around move it around.
All right good I'm starting to sweat good now take your left hand and I want you just to shake it all around kind of like the hokey pokey and you move it and shake it good.
Now what we're trying to do is energize that body so now take both arms up overhead and just shake them around.
So this is for people who are sitting down who maybe can't stand up and if there's something that you find yourself not able to do just limit it so just barely lift your arms up and just shake your hands just moving it right around good.
Now we can just put our arms down our side and just shake those shoulders roll them back give me two or three more good and now roll them forward one two three four good.
Now I want you to shimmy shake them shimmy shake those shoulders around oh shake them around let your arms shake around move it around so we're just energizing that body knowing right here right now we are present in this seat.
So we've gotten down to the hips and just open up that lower back by just moving the hips back and forward in the chair back and forward breathing so you notice you've got your music on that you can play that you really love that motivates you whether it's Pharrell with happy or some old soul or maybe even some pink whatever it is but it's going to get you motivated to do these little exercises.
So now take the right leg and I just want you to extend it straight out good get some energy pumping in that body 10 times good and again as I said if you are not able to just straighten the leg straight out then just rub on your legs just moving those quads around whatever it is to energize and get that blood flowing in your body and the left leg moving it all around stretch it straight out so we're doing 10 on each leg good again if you can't get that leg out just go ahead and shake that leg with your hand and move the blood in that body beautiful.
Now what I want you to do is I want you to stand up so we're going to stand up 10 times one two and sit back down in that chair stand up three sit back down four and five good I'm starting to sweat let's do five more one two three four and five good that blood should be pumping and you're standing up this is the last exercise if you cannot stand up you can do this right from your chair I want you just to shake your legs but if you're standing at this point I want you just to do little bitty jumps where your feet just come off the floor and I want you just to count one two three four five six seven eight nine ten ten nine eight seven six five four three two one beautiful now last one hands up in the air throw them down hands up in the air throw them down three up in the air four up in the air five up in the air six let it go seven eight two more nine and ten.
Oh beautiful work you guys did amazing so I just want to reflect right here how you feeling what's going on your body feeling good you're a little warmed up got the blood pumping through your body got a little air going on right there well guess what that's why we started with the bubble we let it go and right here right now we got a whole new attitude we got a whole new look how you can only lose it if you move it so you got to move it to lose it and I'm not saying it's not going to come back but now you're going to have a different way of approaching it because it's not who you are and not only is it not who you are but the benefits are going to be even more exciting for you you're going to have a little bit more muscular strength and endurance you're going to have a little bit more core awareness and strength and even for that matter you're going to release some calories from that body temple because you're going to be moving and grooving and elevating that heart rate and what's not to love about that and first and foremost you're going to clean out that mind of all the baggage and the things that no longer serve you I once heard a quote that said I only travel with overhead with the baggage that fits in the overhead compartment and I loved that because you don't have to check any baggage after you do these exercises just get rid of everything that doesn't serve you groove on to that music and keep on living so thank you so much for spending this afternoon with me doing this little grooving and moving and releasing anything in that bubble that doesn't serve you any longer a thought a fear a pain a relationship just let it go if it doesn't serve you so with I'm with you I'm with you I'm with you so peace out have a blessed day
