As you engage with meditation this way,

We are going to create an atmosphere of total allowing.

But first there has to be a noticing.

First there has to be a sense of knowing what's actually here.

So that includes all levels,

Knowing what's here physically in your body,

As your body.

Mentally being able to see and discern what thoughts,

Stories,

Narratives are going through the mind.

Emotionally,

What feelings are present.

And just coming into that space where whatever is present at these levels is okay.

It doesn't need to be changed,

Doesn't need to be fixed,

Doesn't need to be improved upon.

And also doesn't need to be indulged or amplified or fed.

So we're adopting a rather sweet indifference.

The sweetness of our indifference is that we're soft,

We're kind,

We're respectful of what's here.

But indifference in the sense that we're not bothering to get hung up on anything that we experience physically,

Mentally,

Or emotionally.

Here just adopting a sense of inclusion so that whatever presents itself on any level is welcome.

This sense of inclusivity,

This sense of accommodating whatever arises means that we don't go into resistance.

We don't go into trying to change something or fix something.

Even if we're experiencing something very unpleasant like apathy or hatred or depression.

What's it like if we come into this space and just allow that experience to be here?

Not to feed it,

Not to indulge it,

But also not to get rid of it or change it or fix it.

But to just be here with it in the simplest possible way.

Realize that as you come into this space of allowing and acceptance and welcoming and inclusion,

There's a change that happens in you.

A shift.

And we are welcoming all of ourselves to be present.

The wholeness,

The totality of who we are.

Nothing is off limits.

Nothing is forbidden.

Here we don't need to act on any of what arises.

We don't need to come to any conclusions about it.

We don't need to use it as fuel to think about what we're going to do or where we're going to go or what we're going to say or who we are.

Nothing.

We're just residing in this space of unconditional allowing.

Unconditional welcoming.

So as to feel and sense and know the wholeness that is present here.

Realize as you sense into this wholeness that here it is complete.

There's a sense of totality.

There's a sense of fullness,

Richness.

We don't need to be exercising judgment over what's okay,

What's not okay,

Who we are,

Who we aren't.

Just this unconditional atmosphere of welcoming.

Notice here how you are like an atmosphere.

Your very being is like an atmosphere.

As we step into this unconditional welcoming,

It may feel like space,

Spaciousness.

Like love,

Like acceptance.

It may feel strong.

Just notice how in this experience of wholeness,

Integrity,

These different flavors emerge when you're not in opposition to yourself,

When you're not fighting against anything,

When you're not trying to change anything or fix anything or get anywhere.

Maybe just peaceful,

Blissfully peaceful.

Notice that when everything is welcome,

There's no part of your consciousness tied to keeping things out.

There's no part that is busy protecting or defending.

That when everything is welcome,

When you realize that you are big enough,

Spacious enough to accommodate whatever arises,

There's no fear.

Because even if fear does arise,

It's welcome.

And that welcoming trumps fear.

This is how love conquers fear.

When you welcome,

You love.

When you exclude,

You separate.

You hate.

You fear.

Turn your entire vessel,

Your body,

Mind,

Emotions,

Essence,

Into this vehicle of total welcoming,

Total embrace.

Doesn't matter what comes.

Doesn't matter what feeling.

Doesn't matter what's happening in the environment.

We become aware that there's space and room for all of it.

All of it.

And realizing when nothing is excluded,

When there is no energy keeping anything out,

When there's no energy to resist or fight,

When there's no energy to move away from or get beyond,

In that totality there's a sense of freedom,

Wholeness,

Richness.

You are complete,

But not for any reason involving your body,

Your mind,

Your emotions,

Your relationships or circumstances.

There's just an intrinsic completeness,

Ever-present.
