Within each of us is an innate intelligence and knowing that is so natural and so close. Within our innate knowing, we discover our own deepest intuition and Consciousness. Knowing beyond intellect is here as our innate wisdom and true understanding.

You can rest here with your spine straight,

But not rigid,

Your limbs relaxed.

Be relaxed enough that you can adopt a still and steady posture.

One that won't require you to move unnecessarily.

And in fact,

If you can remain steady and still in body throughout this meditation,

Even better.

But if you need to move,

No problem,

You can move.

And we're going to start here with the breath still very intentional.

Be in control of your breathing.

Let it be natural and fluid,

But don't let it escape your attention.

Be intentional as you draw the inhale in.

As you allow the exhale to be released,

Feel a deep vigilance and attentiveness that simply contents itself with breathing,

Breathing fully,

Breathing deeply,

Breathing in such a way that your sense of care is present.

You care about the act of breathing.

And as you're breathing this way,

Feel your body.

Relax.

Relax,

Feel it unwind.

We're letting go.

And letting go happens.

In a deep relaxation of the body,

Letting go and surrendering are known in the body as a relaxation,

As an unwinding.

So let your breathing support that,

Support this letting go.

Of bodily tension or armor.

Or the subtle sense in your body of doing or needing to do.

And so just relax very deeply.

Here we might experience the falling away of the subtle tension of fear.

And in the body,

Experience a state of trust,

A state of knowing that all is well,

That you can relax,

That you can trust,

That you can let go.

And you may notice in this sense of quiet presence where you're still holding on.

And when you discover that you're holding on in some area of your body,

Let go.

Relax.

Let an opening happen.

Have the sense here that your experience is rich,

Valuable,

That you can be curious and interested and engaged with what's happening.

Have a sense of confidence and integrity,

A sense of your innate power and strength.

These qualities are not ones that we have to cultivate,

Cultivate,

But ones that simply arise from a sense of being deeply present.

And feel the sense of unity in your heart.

The sense,

The most intimate sense first in your heart.

I am.

I am.

And recognize that you share that with all creation,

All existence,

That you share your being with all existence.

And so naturally there's love present.

There's tenderness present warmth.

You can feel your environment.

There's an intimacy with the moment and your surroundings.

There's an intimacy that you share with other human beings.

And the trees and the birds and the clouds have a sense of the innate knowing that is present in you before thought,

Before emotion,

This sense that you are aware and that you know,

You know that you are aware this very simple,

Yet very potent sense of knowing.

In this knowing,

You might feel clear,

Transparent,

This sense that you can see,

Have a sense of your body and your surroundings being alive,

Vibrant,

Vibrating with the substance of consciousness,

The substance of presence,

That the atmosphere in you and around you is thick with that presence and life.

Be aware of the expanse,

The sheer size of the world we live in,

The sheer size of your own being,

Your own consciousness,

The magnitude,

The beauty,

The majesty,

Have a sense that at your core you are incorruptible,

Ancient,

Infinite,

And just let go.

Let go into these attributes.

More than your stories or narratives or identities.

Let these qualities and attributes be your home.

Be yourself.

Be your true nature and identity,

Your true form,

Your true name.

If any thread or residue of your past experience should arise,

Just feed it into the fire of your awareness.

To be burnt up,

To be freed,

To be liberated.

As you keep unwinding and letting go and expanding and opening.

As you keep expanding and letting go,

Notice that there is no real obstacle.

As you are aware of these qualities,

Let them permeate your mind,

Your emotions,

Your nervous system,

Right down into the cells,

Right down to the atomic level.

Now,

In this moment,

Whatever you might be experiencing,

Let your experience join again with conscious breathing,

With a harmony that's present in your senses,

A very relaxed body and nervous system,

A sense that you are deeply present,

Deeply aware,

Perhaps a sense of yoga,

Union,

Unity,

Perhaps a sense that your experience lies beyond words,

Beyond details and descriptions.

And let your emergence into activity,

Into movement,

Into engagement with your senses.

Let it be a seamless transition here where this deep sense of presence and awareness and being join with activity.

Sense engagement.

Notice that there is no obstacle present in your senses,

In your mind,

That you can just continue to be relaxed and open,

Continue to exist in this state of letting go.
