Dreamy Deep Sleep is a gentle, soothing meditation designed to help your nervous system soften, unwind, and naturally drift into deep rest. As a Nervous System Guide and pianist I created this practice to support your body’s natural ability to shift out of stress and into safety, calm, and sleep. You’ll be guided through slow breathing, gentle body relaxation, and dreamy imagery to quiet the mind and release tension. This meditation is especially helpful for anxiety, overstimulation, emotional exhaustion, and trouble falling asleep. Simply rest and allow sleep to come to you naturally.

Hey my friend,

Welcome to this dreamy deep sleep meditation.

I'm going to guide you down into a restful and rejuvenating deep sleep.

Now let's get started.

First,

Find your most comfortable sleeping position.

For some,

This is laying on your back with your hands rested by your sides or gently folded over your chest or your belly.

For others,

This is laying on your side or laying on your stomach.

Whatever it is,

Find your most comfortable position and you can take either one or two or three deep breaths.

And as you exhale,

Start to allow your breath to relax you.

When you breathe in,

Open your eyes and gaze forward.

And when you breathe out,

Gently close your eyes.

Repeat this until your eyes want to fully close and then allow them to remain closed.

As you continue to breathe in and out,

You can feel relaxation even more.

Allow your breath to flow naturally now.

As I share with you a few thoughts about sleep.

Restful sleep is very natural for you.

It's natural for everyone.

And up until now,

You may have allowed your thoughts to have control over you,

Keeping you from getting the sleep that you deserve.

But now,

You are done with this because you deserve restful sleep.

And overthinking is unnecessary now.

So continue to breathe in and out and feel relaxation coming over you.

You notice the slight sound of your breath.

And it can remind you of a calm breeze,

A serene ocean,

Or perhaps a clear stream just slowly trickling by.

Your breath can be similar to these things because your breath is the most natural thing in the world.

So,

Continue to breathe in and out,

Feeling more and more deeply relaxed.

Your breath slows a bit more,

Which means you're relaxing more and ready to doze off into a beautiful sleep.

It may have been a while since you've been able to fall asleep so easily.

So your body is very welcoming to this sensation.

Allow these feelings of relaxation to multiply more and more.

Allow your mind to drift and to wander to the thought of how soft your pillow feels and how your bed is naturally supporting your body.

Feel how this is just right for you to rest and how important it is for you to sleep.

To get this restful sleep.

Now,

Continue to breathe in and out and allow the sound of my voice to be calming and soothing to you.

You can allow for your dreams to slowly sweep over your mind as your brain slows more and more.

This is a very pleasant feeling and these gentle sensations come very natural for you.

You sleep deeply and soundly,

Continue to breathe in and out,

Relaxing more and more.

You can sense this feeling like how it feels for a baby when sleeping comes naturally and often easily.

Feel yourself wrapped in soft blankets and supported by this bed.

You don't have to exert any effort.

It's a very beautiful thing to see you restfully sleeping.

Knowing how important it is to rejuvenate your body with this sleep.

You'll smile knowing how easily you are able to do this right now.

You sleep deeply and soundly,

Continuing to allow your breath to relax you.

You barely notice your breath now because it has slowed to only what is needed for a deep and restful sleep.

This is completely natural and it feels so wonderful.

You're doing a good job.

I'm delighted to help you to sleep so well.

You deserve this.

You sleep deeply and soundly.

Your breath continues to relax you.

You deserve this restful sleep.

You deserve this natural relaxation.

You deserve to let go of unnecessary thoughts.

Continue to breathe in and out.

And know that you deserve to sleep in a way that makes you feel completely rejuvenated and energized when you rise.

Everyone deserves to see you well rested.

And to be overjoyed to hear when you tell them that you're getting the natural sleep that you need every night.

You sleep deeply and soundly.

Relaxing.

Your dreams are constructive and offer a space for learning.

Your dreams contribute to a happy wakeful life.

And compliment your good qualities and offer feelings of completion.

Let this dreamy feeling flow and float now.

Taking you in all different kinds of wonderful places.

Having calming and relaxing experiences.

You sleep deeply and soundly.

Now it is effortless for you to get to sleep.

Simply practicing this meditation will allow you to fully retain this new wonderful habit.

Good sleep comes easily for you.

Sleeping soundly is natural for you.

Those who you love are delighted that you sleep so deeply,

Getting the rest that you need.

As you continue to breathe,

Know that it is your human right to always get a good night's sleep.

Being completely rejuvenated when you rise.

You deserve this and you always have.

Continue to enjoy this rest.

And continue to rest well.
