Welcome,

Conscious creators.

I'm going to guide you through a quick practice to help you cultivate the ability to trigger deep calm and relaxation on command.

In this exercise,

You are going to build your very own calm button that you can activate whenever stress arises in any situation.

So whether it's a work presentation,

A job interview,

A first date,

Or simply having a challenging day,

This technique will guide you toward the state of tranquility and composure.

So are you ready to unlock inner calm right at your fingertips?

Let us begin.

So find a comfortable position and just allow your body to unwind,

Relax,

And settle into stillness.

Take a deep breath in,

Bring it all the way to the top,

And as you exhale,

Release any tension,

Any worries that might be lingering with you.

And if you want,

Shake it out.

Shake out any tension or worries by gently shaking your hands or your arms,

Wiggling your fingers,

Wiggling your toes,

Stretching your legs,

And just let any tension flow out of your body.

And as that tension fades away,

Just feel into the subtle rhythm of your breath and set the intention to just be here now.

Let's take one full slow breath all the way in now,

And then exhale all the way to empty,

Releasing all the air out of your lungs.

Let's do one more.

A nice deep,

Slow,

Full breath in all the way to the top,

And exhale all the way to empty.

I want you to call to mind your favorite place.

What is a location that brings you a deep sense of calm,

Peace,

And feeling of control?

It could be a place in your home,

Or it could be a particular memory you have of being somewhere.

As you immerse yourself in this mental landscape,

Recall a specific time when you experienced these feelings of calm,

Peace,

Being at ease while you were in this place.

Let that memory come alive within you.

Now I want you to engage your senses fully.

Activate your mind's eye.

Envision the colors,

Textures,

And details of your surroundings.

Hear the sounds that encompass that serene environment.

Make everything brighter,

More vivid,

And intensify the emotions you felt in that moment.

See it as clearly as you can.

Bigger,

Brighter,

Bolder.

Now I want you to keep running through the memory multiple times.

Relive the experiences.

Allow all the sensations to just wash over you.

And with each repetition of running through the memory,

Capture the essence of that state of being.

See if you can make contact with it and allow that deep sense of inner peace and calm to settle within you.

Feel the serenity permeating every cell of your body.

Now let's anchor in that feeling.

As you replay the memory,

Get a sense of the warmth of those positive emotions.

And as you get that feeling,

I want you to gently squeeze your thumb and middle finger together.

Every time you see this memory in your mind and you feel the positive sensations,

Squeeze your thumb and middle finger together.

This simple gesture and pressure point will be your anchor moving forward.

We are creating a link between this gesture with this memory and the associated feelings of relaxation and tranquility all together.

But let's not stop there.

I want you to keep repeating this as many times as possible.

Keep returning to the memory and relive it.

Relive the good feelings at least five more times.

Each time you capture the good feelings,

Squeeze those fingers together to further reinforce the connection between the anchor and the positive emotions and locking them further into place.

Now I want you to bring to mind a situation that typically causes you stress or anxiety.

It may be something that's upcoming in your life,

Something at work,

Or something in one of your relationships.

As you imagine this scenario,

I want you to now squeeze those fingers together.

Simultaneously envision everything going exceptionally well.

I want you to see yourself confidently handling challenges with a smile.

I want you to see yourself radiating calm and composure.

And as you do that,

Squeeze those fingers together.

See yourself completely relaxed,

Completely at ease,

Your best self in this situation.

And squeeze your middle finger and your thumb together.

And finally,

Let's bring in some mindfulness.

Can you become acutely aware of how good it feels to be calm and in control?

I want you to notice of how good it feels to be calm,

Relaxed,

And in control in such a stressful situation,

In a situation that typically causes you anxiety.

As you continue squeezing your fingers,

I want you to recognize the empowering sensation that arises as you see yourself calm and relaxed in such a difficult situation.

Become aware of this sensation coupled with the gesture you are making with your fingers,

Further amplifying the connection.

Now let's just take a moment to bask in the serenity you just cultivated.

And know that you have the power in your mind and body to nurture a deep state of calm and relaxation anytime you choose.

Whenever you encounter moments of stress or uncertainty,

Remember that you have this calm button at your disposal.

At any time you can activate it by gently squeezing your thumb and middle finger together and allowing the soothing sensations to wash over you.

I have found through my own consistent practice that in time,

By doing this intentionally,

You begin to rewire your mind and body to naturally access states of calm and relaxation,

So you can respond to any situation with grace and composure.

So the more you engage with this technique,

The stronger the association between the anchor and your desired emotions will become.

When you're ready,

Slowly return to the present moment.

You can bring gentle movements to your body,

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

And ground yourself back here into the room that you are in.

Thank you for taking the time for joining me today,

And I hope this technique can help you on your path.

Much love.
