Relax your lower body. Just before you go to bed or during the working hours, take some time to release the tension in the hips and the legs. By mindfully and slowly allowing the muscles to become passive, your energy will be restored. (Apologies for the bad sound quality. It was my first ever recording. I will improve in the future.)

And now we come to the relaxation inside of your hip joints.

Then we will relax your legs.

The first feel,

The spaciousness inside of the hips,

Where the bones meet,

Where the pelvis ends,

Where the thigh bones are.

Feel that space,

Allow it to expand,

Extend.

Feel how your groin relax.

There is no tension there as your abdomen rises and sinks,

As your sitting bones are supported either by sitting on the floor,

The chair,

Sofa or simply lying on the bed.

Feel how the root of the spine is relaxed inside of the pelvis.

Then mentally detach your legs of the pelvis,

Let go of your legs,

Allow the gravity to pull them down.

The weight of the bones of your legs.

Then we will release all the muscles around the thigh bones,

Sides,

Back,

The front of the thighs,

All the tendons and tissues,

Everything up toward the skin and then the skin itself.

Allow the skin to become soft and tender.

Then we go into the knees,

Inside of our knee joints and we create space there mentally.

Because of freedom,

Spaciousness,

Openness,

Simply let go of the lower legs,

Allow them to relax.

The back of the knees become soft inside of the knees,

Inner and outer sides of the knees and the front,

The kneecap and under the kneecap.

Then we let go of the shin bones.

Just allow the weight of the shin bones to get them drawn down toward the earth.

The calves are relaxing,

The muscles,

Tendons,

Everything around the bones,

Calves,

The skin down toward the heels become soft.

Make it soft.

Then we are inside of our ankles.

Inner ankles,

Outer ankles,

Back of the ankles,

Front of the ankles and deep inside.

Just let go of your feet.

If they are on the ground,

Feel how the earth pulls them down.

Lie on the floor or on the bed.

Just allow the heel to melt with the floor,

The bed.

Then go inside of the feet joints,

All the joints,

The toe joints,

Your left foot and right foot and create space in each and every of those joints.

Allow how the skin around them relaxes.

Then under the nails,

The toe nails,

Between the toes,

Around the toes,

The soles of your feet.

Skin stretches in all directions.

So the centers of the soles of your feet relaxes and releases all tension.

The soles of your feet become soft,

Tender and smooth,

Just like a piece of silk cloth.

You breathe in and out through the soles of your feet.

You feel the breath,

It breathes through you,

Through the soles of your feet and how it nourishes them.

You breathe in and out through the soles of your feet.
