Go ahead and get yourself into a comfortable position,

Whichever one you choose.

Taking some deep breaths and as you can just listen to me kind of give you a little bit of an overview what this is going to be like.

This isn't a traditional meditation.

We're tapping into similar postures and similar tools and that your eyes are going to be closed if that feels safe for you.

We're really going to be focusing on the breath,

But I'm going to be taking you more into a journey in the body.

So the breath is the through line,

Just like in meditation,

But it's a bit of a different practice.

What I want you to do as you're getting settled,

As we're opening this process,

Is really inviting yourself to be curious,

Really inviting yourself to be compassionate with anything you find.

As much as you can,

Let the mind relax and let me guide you.

You can think about me like a tour guide and we're exploring your body,

Your energy in a new way,

Maybe for the first time.

So you live in this body all the time,

But maybe you've never been in it in this way.

So as much as you're able to relax the mind,

As you're breathing,

As you're coming down into the body,

Starting to release that need to understand what's going to happen.

We're not sure and that's okay,

But you're safe.

I've got you,

I'm holding the space,

Anything that comes forward is allowed,

Anything that comes forward is accepted.

And I want to acknowledge as we're going through this process,

It would be really normal for you to feel a wave of emotion.

For me,

Almost every time I do this there's tears,

It's just the way my body releases.

So if you feel tears,

If you feel a lump in your throat,

If you find tension somewhere and that tension needs to kick,

Or scream,

Or yell,

Or burp,

Or whatever,

Or dance,

Or move,

This isn't,

As I said,

This isn't so much a space where you need to be completely still.

And in fact what I want to do in this practice is start giving you permission to be in your body.

So if that means wiggling the arms,

If that means kicking out the legs,

If that means shaking the hips,

If that means stretching,

This is a space where I want you to start to invite yourself back into a state of wisdom,

That your body knows what it needs.

And if emotion comes forward,

I want to invite you to let it out,

However you feel safe to do that.

Again,

Whether that's tears,

Whether that's moving the body,

Whether that's screaming,

Or speaking,

Or talking to yourself,

It doesn't matter.

But most of us in our lives,

When that emotion comes forward,

The emotion's there,

But we push it down like a cork under water,

Right?

Like a cork under water,

Right?

And every time we push it down,

We think we're pushing it away,

But it actually just gets bigger,

And bigger,

And bigger.

And it just makes more for us to be with later.

So in this space,

You are completely safe and encouraged to let those things up.

So if we go somewhere in your body and there's emotion,

Let it out.

Because if you're letting it up,

If you're letting it out,

It is exiting your body.

Your body is not a place for these old emotions to live.

Your body is not a graveyard.

Your body is a garden.

So anything that comes up,

Comes up.

See it as something beautiful because it's coming out.

So we're going to start with a nice deep breath in for the count of five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Holding for two.

One,

Two.

And releasing for five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Once more.

Inhaling for five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Holding for two.

One,

Two.

Releasing for five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Holding for two at the bottom.

One,

Two.

And one more round.

Inhaling for five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Holding for two.

One,

Two.

Exhaling for five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Releasing that practice.

Letting the breath return to whatever natural rhythm feels good in this state.

And starting at the very top of the head,

You're going to bring your awareness up to the top of your head,

The place where the sun hits your scalp when you're outside.

Just bring your scalp when you're outside.

Just bring your awareness into that space.

And just exhaling in that space as if you could release and relax.

If there were muscles up there,

Just releasing,

Relaxing.

Top of the head.

And moving down into the forehead,

Into the face.

And again,

As if you could relax and exhale the muscles there.

As if you could just turn them off.

Feeling this wave of relaxation start to drip down over the body like honey.

Going down a bit farther into the throat.

Taking some breaths in this space and just starting to relax in the throat.

And maybe as we land in this space,

This is the very first place you're feeling a bit of tension.

Maybe there's some tightness in the throat.

Maybe there's a lump in the throat or this feeling that you might want to cry or let something out.

This is one of the most common spaces for there to be tension in the energy body because most of us have been taught to halt our voices.

So taking a few kind of extra breaths here in the throat and just feeling into what's here.

As I relax,

As I give myself permission to disconnect,

As I start to explore what it might be like to honor my own voice,

What comes forward in this space.

And if at any point you feel any deep tension,

Your breath is the key to unlocking it.

Noticing the tension,

If it arises,

Naming it,

Showing yourself,

Okay,

I feel this tension here in my throat space.

Letting it be there.

Noticing the instinct normally to push it down,

Right?

I can't make a fuss.

I don't want to inconvenience anyone.

I don't want to be a burden with my emotions.

Noticing the instinct to push it down and instead in this moment,

You're going to let it bloom.

If there's a tension in your throat,

You're just going to let it be there and you're going to breathe.

Your awareness on the tension is literally how it releases,

Is how it metabolizes.

Oh,

I'm so happy.

All you have to do in this moment is just breathe.

Sometimes as we're moving through releasing these pieces,

It feels like it's never going to stop or it's just going to keep getting bigger.

And I promise you after releasing hundreds of these in myself and with other people,

There's a wave,

There's a kind of crest of the wave and then it releases.

Staying with the breath and noticing how this might be the most attention you've ever given yourself for this space.

How often are we using the throat space to communicate with our loved ones and with the world around us?

And yet we don't go in here to see how it's feeling.

So letting your breath be this kind of power washer.

Clearing out anything from this space,

Any tension,

Anything that's not needed anymore or anything that feels heavy.

And the mind might say,

Well,

There's no way this is doing anything.

But as you're breathing and as you're focusing on this area,

Do you notice a sense of relaxation?

Do you notice that your body is changing?

Maybe your breath is slowing and spreading out.

Maybe your shoulders are drooping,

Relaxing,

Melting.

Maybe other muscles that you're used to kind of tensing or holding have started to soften.

As the throat space is melting and opening and softening,

I invite you to start bringing your awareness down into the chest,

Down into the heart.

So often,

These two spaces,

The throat and the heart,

Is where things get stuck.

And I just want to invite you to scan across this area.

And I just want to invite you to scan across this area.

Scan across the heart.

What's here?

Maybe it has a name.

Maybe the emotions have a name.

Maybe there's pain or sadness or hurt or grief.

Or maybe there's just tension and it doesn't have a name yet and that's okay.

But can you just be with your breath,

With whatever's here in this space,

Knowing that anything that has come forward today has come forward to come out.

If anything comes up,

Feels heavy or hard,

Deepening the exhale,

Your breath is the most powerful.

You have access to.

It can evolve anything.

So anything that you're feeling here in the heart space,

Letting your breath be a tool of compassion,

Acceptance.

Of course,

This is here.

How natural this would be here.

And then letting it be a tool of change.

Letting it be a tool of change.

Am I willing to let this space be a bit softer for me?

Am I willing to let my heart be more of a place of love for me?

Of joy and openness for me?

Because I want to experience those feelings.

Staying in that space if you need to,

If there's more there.

If not,

Letting your awareness drip down a bit lower into the sacral center.

For those of us that have experienced trauma in the center,

If you've been betrayed through sexual energy,

This center might be turned off.

Through sexual energy,

This center might be turned off.

Is there grief in the sexual space?

Is there anger in the sexual space?

Is there just a wall there?

Just observe.

Anything you find,

Anything you can bring your awareness to,

If it becomes conscious in your awareness,

You can change it.

So as you're breathing,

As you're being in this space,

What do you find?

Maybe it's a wall,

And what you'd really like to have is a flower.

Maybe it's ice,

And what you'd really like to have is a flowing river.

And can you just notice,

As you go into this space,

And you become aware of what's there,

How much power you have to begin to shift it?

If you're a visualizer,

Starting to see that space as something different.

Or if you're more of a feeler,

Starting to notice what feelings are there and inviting in the one that's there.

Starting to notice what feelings are there and inviting in the ones you might like to try on instead.

What might it be like to have that spark of joy in that space again?

Even if it's just for you.

Even if the reconnection to that beautiful sexual energy is just for you.

Breathing into what you find there and letting the breath be like an eraser.

Anything that's coming forward is because you don't need it in that space any longer.

Anything you need to be safe,

The subconscious will keep subconscious.

If you can become aware of it,

If you can see it,

If you can feel it,

If you can become aware of it,

If you can see it,

If you can feel it,

If you can name it,

It's because it's safe for you to change it if you want to.

So in this moment right now,

As you're breathing into this part of your body that has carried so much,

What might you let go of?

What might you melt or soften into for you?

This might be one of those spaces where a lot of energy that isn't yours has been stuck.

And I invite you to start to send that back out.

Maybe this is just about your current partner,

Your previous partner.

Maybe this is about every person you've ever connected with in this way in your life.

What's it like to send out energy from this space?

Release,

Release,

Release.

How do I let this space be a place of freedom and of sovereignty?

If there's anything that's in here that's heavy,

Bringing the breath in,

Sinking into that with your breath and giving it the permission to soften.

Staying in this space if you need more time in this energy,

In this part of your body.

And if not,

Sinking down into the kind of last camp we're going to arrive in,

The base,

Your root,

Your safety.

And as you're taking your big,

Beautiful inhales and exhales now,

Getting used to this new way of experiencing this space,

Getting used to this new way of experiencing your body,

Wherever it is that you released from,

You've created space somewhere.

Maybe it was the throat,

Maybe it was the heart,

Maybe it's the sexual space.

Wherever you've released from,

There's spaciousness now.

And as you land down in the bottom of your body,

Your place of safety,

I invite you to start to inhale and exhale from the top to the bottom of the body,

Exploring what your space is like without whatever you've released.

Almost like you're creating a new map.

And exploring,

Who am I without these things?

And as you're letting your breath travel up and down,

If you notice anywhere that your energy gets stuck,

If you find something that's from someone else that isn't yours,

Inviting yourself to release that with your breath,

It's not even with any effort,

It's just a,

Oh,

I don't need this anymore.

Like putting a piece of mail in the post.

Oh,

I don't need this anymore,

This isn't mine.

Wrong sender,

Return to sender.

In this moment,

You have an awareness of your own body,

Your own energy,

And you're letting it travel up and down.

And as you're letting it travel up and down,

You have an awareness of your own body,

Your own energy,

That's different than you've ever had before.

And so for the final few minutes,

What I want to invite you to do is bring forward someone that you tend to engage with in a way that doesn't really serve you.

Maybe you take on more from them than you know you need to,

Or should,

Or is good for you.

Or maybe you give more to them than you need to.

I invite you to just bring that person to mind in this moment,

In this place of sovereignty,

In this place of solid energy,

Being in your body.

See them standing in front of you,

It is safe,

This is just their energy.

If there's anything heavy or negative between you,

That's not here in this space,

It's just the soul that you're looking at ahead of you.

And notice a cord that connects you to.

What does it look like?

Is it thin?

Is it thick?

Does it have a color?

What is it made of?

Maybe you can hear someone sweeping outside my villa,

And if you can,

I want to invite you to bring that sound into your practice.

As you're releasing things,

There's dust falling,

There's debris falling from the process,

And the sound is helping you sweep that out.

That's a work that you don't need to do,

It's being done for you.

So as you feel into this cord,

This connection that you have with this person,

You get to decide,

Am I releasing this person?

Or am I just resetting our connection?

And so in this moment,

Either you're going to look down in your mind's eye,

And in your hands,

There's either a pair of scissors,

Because we're going to cut the cord,

Or there's a beautiful violet flame in the other hand,

And we're going to reset the connection.

And it's your choice.

You're either releasing this connection for now,

You're releasing this exchange of energy for now,

Or you're releasing this exchange of energy for now.

So your choice,

You're going to pick up either the scissors,

Or the violet flame,

And go ahead and either cut or clear this connection.

It might help you to make a sound.

And then you're going to cut the cord,

Or you're going to cut the violet flame,

Or you're going to cut the cord,

Or you're going to cut the violet flame,

Or you're going to cut the cord,

Or a movement.

If you're using the scissors,

Maybe you make the motion with your hands.

If you're using the flame,

Maybe you actually move your hand as if you were putting the flame all along this connection.

Let your body be a part of this process.

It does not happen without the body.

And noticing as you're making this shift,

How your breath keeps you stable,

And you have this sense of sovereignty that's new.

And you let them go,

Or you let the old connection go in love.

Thank you for everything you've taught me.

Thank you for everything you've shown me.

Thank you for everything you mirrored to me,

So that I could find my sovereignty again.

Thank you.

I release you in love,

And I come back to myself.

If there's anything else you need to say,

Either out loud or in your mind's eye,

To this person or to yourself,

I invite you to do that here.

And whenever that feels complete,

Letting that person walk away,

Or disappear,

And coming back into your own body again.

Coming back into your own space,

And almost like you're trying on new clothes for the first time,

Just getting used to what it feels like without this connection.

Just exploring.

What's different?

Is there more freedom?

Is there more space?

Is there joy?

Is there ease?

Is there peace?

Is there power?

Do you feel activated?

Do you feel empowered?

Are you proud of yourself?

Do you love yourself more in this moment?

Is there gratitude?

What's different?

Taking your time coming out of this very,

Very gently.

If you need more time in this space,

You stay for as long as you want.

But as you're ready,

If you're ready,

Very,

Very gently,

Opening the eyes,

Deepening the breath.
