This shift in perspective helps lower the body's stress response, signaling your nervous system to move from "fat-storage mode" into "rest-and-digest."

Settle into a comfortable position,

Lying down,

Sitting,

And allow your body to relax or get a little bit more comfortable,

5-10% more comfortable.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Releasing any tension,

Coming to a surrender.

No need to change anything.

Feeling the weight of your body sink into the support beneath you.

Locate your inner resource,

Place in the body that feels secure,

At ease,

Might be warmth in your hands,

Stillness in your heart,

Rest here for a moment.

Knowing this peace is your true nature,

Independent of weight or shape.

Bring attention to your breath,

Noticing rhythm,

In and out,

Each inhale,

The body filling up with a vital energy.

Each exhale,

Releasing the stress,

The epinephrine,

The cortisol that the body no longer needs.

Feeling the nervous system shift from storage mode into a flow.

Allowing the body to process and digest with ease.

Become aware of the sensations in the body,

Pure energy,

Tingling in the fingertips,

Coolness in the air,

Vibrant and warm in the belly,

Aliveness in the midsection,

Center of digestion Instead of viewing this area with judgment,

View it as a symphony of emotions,

Tapestry of life.

You are not a weight,

You are the life force that animates this being.

Welcome any sensations that arise,

Even those of hunger,

Craving,

Or emotional heaviness.

Treat these cravings as honored guests,

Fleeing visitors in the vast landscape of awareness.

Observe the physical sensation of craving without needing to act on it.

Watch it arise,

Vibrate,

And dissolve,

Leaving you still and centered.

Feel your physical form dissolving into pure awareness,

Stars in the night sky.

You are vast,

Boundless space in which hunger,

Fullness,

And thoughts about the body arise and subside.

You are the witness of the body,

Not the victim of its impulses,

Rest,

And awareness.

Notice this pure,

Unchanging being as you emerge from this short journey.

Express gratitude to the body for its wisdom.

It knows how to find its natural balance when the mind is quiet.

Set an intention to carry the observer perspective into your next meal.

Listen deeply to your body's true signals of nourishment.

Deepen the breath,

Sense sensations.

The body returns,

Light,

Refreshed,

Aligned,

Taking your time whenever you are ready.

Slowly open the eyes,

Welcoming the world with a reviewed sense of presence,

Home peace,

Love,

Joy.
