Welcome to this meditation on your freedom of expression.
Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in and slowly begin to tune into your body.
We're so used to being dissociated from our bodies and just living in our heads.
So for a moment,
Allow yourself to actually notice how you feel.
Breathe in and breathe out following that wave of your breath.
And if you like,
Exhale any stagnant energy that you feel nestling in your body.
We will be focusing on your voice and your throat area today.
The voice of many highly sensitives is blocked due to judgment and fear.
However,
Our beautiful voices need to be heard in a world that has far too little compassion and far too little understanding of the complexity of things.
What would be your immediate emotional reaction if I told you that your voice is beautiful?
What is your immediate reaction if I tell you that your expression of self is wanted and needed in this world?
So whatever came up,
I would ask you to focus on your throat area for now and become aware,
Become aware of it without judgment.
Just feel into it.
What does that area feel like?
Is it constricted or open?
Warm and soft or cold and empty?
And just follow that for a moment.
Just stay with it.
Allow yourself to zoom into that area of your body.
Good.
So now let's dive into some affirmations.
My voice is important and valuable.
I allow myself to express myself with confidence and clarity.
It is safe for me to communicate my thoughts and feelings freely.
I just love how creativity flows freely through my words.
I trust my inner voice and intuition.
I speak my truth with kindness and compassion.
I release any fear of speaking my truth.
My words have power and impact.
I now embrace my uniqueness and share it joyfully.
I listen to others with an open heart and mind.
I use my words to uplift and inspire others.
My voice carries strength and authenticity.
My voice matters and makes a positive difference.
I allow myself to feel deeply and fully.
I am a passionate and creative being and I allow myself to express that.
It is safe for me to release all guilt and shame surrounding my voice.
I trust the natural flow of life.
I release all fear of intimacy and connection.
I am comfortable with vulnerability.
I express my creativity with enthusiasm and joy.
I now release all shame,
Guilt and fear relating to expressing my desires.
I honor my right to speak up for myself.
I easily express my thoughts and desires.
It is safe for me to express what I have to say.
Being truthful to my voice and sharing it is such a joy.
I am now open to healing and growth.
I dare to speak with my authentic voice.
I am loved for my authentic voice.
I am worthy of expressing myself fully and lovingly.
I'm worthy of being heard.
And so it is.
Take in a deep breath and release anything that you held back in your body concerning fear of expression.
Another deep breath in.
Fill yourself with confidence and love.
And when you breathe out,
Release any feelings of shame and fear.
Just do that for another couple of breaths.
Connecting back to your body,
Feeling your feet on the ground.
Understanding that your life is going to change from the moment that you start using your voice freely and authentically.
And that you can be heard.
And that being heard can make a positive impact for others and for yourself.
And I wish you luck with that.
Thank you.
