Whenever you're ready,

You can close your eyes and settle into the body,

Letting out a few deep,

Slow breaths,

Whatever that is for you,

Just pace it for you,

What feels comfortable for you as you allow your awareness to flow through your body,

Scan through your body,

Feeling your feet on the floor and the butt of the chair,

Finding a posture that's alert,

Not rigid,

Drop the shoulders from the ears and just breathe,

Allowing your awareness to ride your breath in and out,

Noticing the sensations of breathing,

The temperature of the air,

The way the chest feels expanding,

Contracting,

And any time the mind wanders down some path and you notice it,

The breath is always there to come back to,

And softening the eyes,

Gentle smile with the eyes as you breathe,

Maybe a half little Buddha smile on the lips,

Just breathing in and out through that smile,

Noticing if there's any change in the quality of breath as you breathe through a smile,

Bringing to mind now your,

Whatever it is that you consider to be your work,

Just holding that in your mind with a smile,

Just appreciating the opportunity,

Bringing to mind now one,

Maybe more,

Of the people that your job serves,

Could be co-workers,

Could be clients,

Customers,

Family,

Just connecting to the service aspect of what we do,

What might be there for you is some gratitude for the opportunity to serve,

And if that's not there,

It's okay,

You can think about the people who you serve,

Imagine the experience of gratitude that they might have,

Of being contributed to by you,

Think about the people that are thankful that you do what you do,

Noticing the experience of gratitude in your body,

How it feels to be appreciated,

Whether they've told you or not,

And any level of appreciation or gratitude you feel toward them for the opportunity that they've given you to serve,

That might be there too,

Notice the gratitude is gratitude,

Whether it's incoming or outgoing,

Vibration is the same,

Once you open to it,

Notice how it feels in the body,

Feeling that experience of gratitude,

Vibration in your body,

Just setting that experience as a baseline,

Sort of vibration for your day,

Allowing it to flow in toward you from your work and out toward them,

Just creating a little bubble of gratitude around you and what you get to do,

Take a few more breaths,

Wiggle those toes,

Wiggle those fingers,

And open the eyes and come on back,
