Welcome.

Today's Yoga Nidra is to help you connect into your intuition.

As you settle into Yoga Nidra,

Do whatever it is that you need to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.

Lie down,

Arms resting by your sides and palms facing up.

If this is not comfortable for you at any stage,

Laying on your side or sitting up supported will do just fine.

Maybe take some time to make a cosy rest nest with cushions and blankets,

Bolsters or covers,

Whatever your body needs to feel as comfortable as possible in this moment.

Close your eyes or just lower the gaze,

Whatever feels safe for you.

Take in some beautiful deep breaths,

Releasing all tension.

Adjust your body for the utmost comfort that you can achieve.

A pillow under your head,

Under your knees,

Just to create a space that is right for you.

Today we are going to embark on an experience that will take you into your body,

Into your system,

Embracing every part of you and connecting into that beautiful wise voice that you have inside of yourself.

Allow your body and mind to ease into the present moment,

Knowing that you are enough.

Feel free to move or open your eyes as needed.

This practice is for you,

This time is just for you.

Breathing in and out the nose.

Bringing your awareness to your physical body,

Deep breaths in and out your nose,

Allowing your body to relax with each exhale.

In,

Out,

Relax.

In,

Out,

Relax.

In,

Out,

Relax.

Today's practice is about connecting to your intuition.

I invite you now to set an intention that feels right for you today and for this practice.

Repeat your intention three times.

You can say it in your head or out loud.

And as you say your intention,

Recognize how your body feels.

Feeling into anywhere in your body that opens to your intention or closes to your intention.

Feel into anywhere in your body that may feel constricted or may open up and allow your breath to go to that place.

In and out the nose.

Feel the breath in that place without judgment,

Just noticing,

Simply witnessing.

Throughout yoga nidra,

I invite you to remain still and relaxed,

Allowing yourself to fully experience each stage.

If at any time you need to adjust your body or move or open your eyes or make a sound,

Please do so.

There is no pushing through.

You are safe and supported.

Your awareness of body and sensation is part of the experience and there is no right or wrong.

As much as possible,

Though,

Please remain still,

Allowing your body and nervous system to sink deeper into a state of relaxation.

Throughout the yoga nidra,

I invite you to follow my voice.

However,

If at any time this does not feel right for you or you do not wish to follow an instruction,

You can stop and return to my voice when ready.

As much as possible,

The invitation is to have the smallest amount of awareness throughout the meditation.

With this being said,

If you fall asleep,

Then sleep is what you need today.

Now,

I invite you to feel the support of the ground beneath you,

Allowing yourself to sink into its embrace.

Notice any areas of tension or discomfort in your body.

With each breath,

Imagine sending soothing waves of relaxation to those areas.

With each breath,

Soothing waves of relaxation.

Let go of any tightness or holding on,

In and out the nose.

With each breath,

Let go of any tightness or holding on.

With the soothing waves of relaxation,

Let go of any tightness or holding on.

Let go of any tightness or holding on.

Breathe,

Breathe deeply,

In and out the nose.

As you continue to breathe deeply and rhythmically,

Come aware of the space around you.

Listen to the sounds in the room,

Feel the air on your skin.

Become fully present in this moment,

Letting go of any thoughts or worries that may be occupying your mind.

Let them in and let them out.

Breathe,

Breathe deeply.

As you continue to breathe deeply and rhythmically,

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest.

With each inhale and exhale,

Feel the breath moving in and out of your body,

Like a gentle tide rounding you in the present moment.

Letting go of control,

Letting go of judgment.

Breathe.

Now we will move through a body rotation and as I name each point,

I invite you to bring your attention to that specific area and breathe into that space.

Breathe awareness into it,

Allowing a deep sense of connection to appear.

Begin by bringing your awareness to the mouth,

Upper lip,

Lower lip,

The tongue,

Whole mouth.

Awareness now at the nose,

Right nostril,

Left nostril,

Both nostrils,

Right eyebrow,

Left eyebrow,

Space between the eyebrows.

Right forehead,

Left forehead,

Middle of the forehead,

Right ear,

Left ear,

Both ears.

Awareness to the chin,

The whole front of the face,

Back of the head,

Top of the head,

The whole head,

Neck,

Throat,

Right shoulder,

Left shoulder,

Both shoulders,

The whole right arm,

The whole left arm.

Awareness and connection deeply with both arms.

Letting go of the muscles,

Letting go of holding on,

Letting go of control.

Breathe.

Breathe connection in,

Breathe control out.

Breathe.

Breathe.

Bringing your awareness now to the right hand,

Left hand,

Both hands,

Both arms,

Middle of the chest,

Right side of the chest,

Left side of the chest,

Navel point,

Middle of the pelvis,

Awareness of your right hip,

Left hip,

Both hips,

Right knee,

Left knee,

Both knees,

Right ankle,

Left ankle,

Both ankles,

Right foot,

Left foot,

Both feet.

Tuning into and connecting with the sensations in both feet.

Tuning into and connecting with the sensations in both feet.

Let go.

Breathe.

Awareness now at both ankles,

Both knees,

Both hips,

Pelvis,

Reproductive area.

Tuning into and connecting with the sensations in your whole reproductive area.

Strength,

Wisdom,

Breathe.

Awareness now at the navel point,

Middle of the chest,

Throat,

Resting at the space between your eyebrows.

Feel your whole body,

Bringing awareness to your whole body.

Let go of the muscles,

Let go of the holding on,

Let go of the control.

Breathe.

Let go of the holding on,

Let go of the control.

Breathe awareness and connection in,

Control out.

Notice sensations,

Any sensations.

Breathe awareness in,

Breathe connection in,

And control out.

Notice sensations,

Any sensations.

Awareness in whatever you notice.

And meet whatever you notice with love.

Meet whatever you notice with gratitude.

Meet whatever you notice without judgment.

If you're noticing yourself with a lot of thoughts,

Thank them and release them to a cloud in the sky and let them float away.

If you feel yourself with a lot of resistance,

Release it also to a cloud in the sky and let it float away.

Now bring your focus to your breath.

Breathe awareness and connection in,

And control out.

If it feels right for you,

I invite you to imagine your body is divided into two equal parts.

Begin to breathe up and down the right side of your body.

You are breathing with awareness and connection up and down the right side of your body.

Awareness and connection on the right side of your body.

Breathe up and down the right side of your body.

At the top of the next inhale of breath,

I invite you to move to the left side by inhaling up the right side,

And then exhaling down to the left side.

Now stay on the left side of the body with awareness of your breath in and out.

Find your rhythm.

Breathing in and out,

Up and down on the left side of the body.

Breathe awareness and connection in,

And control out.

Breathe love and acceptance in,

And control out.

At the top of the next inhalation,

Move to the front of the body.

Inhale up the left side of the body,

Then exhale down the front of the body.

You are now breathing in and out,

Up and down on the left side of the body.

At the top of the next inhalation,

Move to the front of the body.

You are now breathing in and out,

Up and down the front of the body.

Breathing in and out,

Up and down the front of the body.

You are breathing with awareness and connection up and down the front of the body.

On the next inhalation,

Move to the back of the body.

Breathing up and down the back of the body.

Grounding yourself with each breath.

Breathe.

Breathe.

Now breathe the whole body with awareness and connection.

Slowly breathe in and out through the whole body.

Whole body aware,

Whole body connected.

With the breath,

Whole body releases.

With the breath,

The whole body is light.

Let your body determine the rhythm of the breath,

The flow of the inhalations and exhalations.

Your whole body is being breathed,

Conscious.

Feel the energy flow through your entire body.

Feel the energy flow through your entire body.

Sense the life force within you.

Sense the wisdom that is within you.

Sense the knowing that is within you.

Connecting you to the universal energy that surrounds us all.

Breathe.

Visualize a warm golden light enveloping you.

Breathe.

Feel a warm golden light enveloping you.

Allowing you to be in this place.

Sense a warm golden light enveloping you,

Allowing you to be in this place.

Bringing you awareness and connection.

Breathe.

As you continue to breathe,

Bring this warm golden light glowing to the center of your chest.

This light represents your intuition,

Your inner wisdom and your inner knowing.

Awareness of your intuition,

Your inner wisdom and inner knowing.

Connection to your intuition,

Your inner wisdom and your inner knowing.

Breathe.

Breathe into the golden light inside of your chest.

With each breath in and out,

Feel this light growing brighter and more radiant,

Filling your entire being with its warmth and brightness.

With each breath,

See this light growing brighter and more radiant,

Filling your entire being with its warmth and brightness.

Breathe.

Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of a vast ocean of light.

Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of a vast,

Peaceful lake.

The surface of the water is calm and still,

Reflecting the golden light of the sun above you,

Shining brightly.

Breathe.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more deeply connected to the energy of this beautiful place,

Allowing its calm and peace to envelop you completely.

And as you gaze out over the lake,

Imagine a small boat approaching from the distance.

This boat is your intuition,

Waiting to carry you deeper into your connection with your awareness,

Insight,

Wisdom and knowing.

Breathe.

Inhale awareness,

Exhale and let go of control.

Inhale connection,

Exhale and let go of expectation.

Breathe into trust.

Breathe into your wisdom.

Breathe into your intuition.

Breathe into your knowing.

With each breath,

Feel yourself stepping into the boat,

Trusting in its guidance to take you where you need to go.

Inhale awareness,

Exhale and let go of control.

Inhale connection,

Exhale and let go of expectation.

Breathe into trust,

Breathe into wisdom,

Breathe into intuition,

Breathe into your knowing.

As the boat begins to glide across the surface of the water,

Allow yourself to surrender to the experience,

Letting go of any need to control or direct where the boat is taking you.

As the boat goes,

Inhale awareness,

Exhale and let go of control.

Inhale connection,

Exhale and let go of expectation.

Breathe into trust,

Breathe into wisdom,

Breathe into your intuition,

Breathe into your knowing.

Allow the boat to lead you exactly where you need to be.

Inhale awareness,

Exhale and let go of control.

Inhale connection,

Exhale and let go of expectation.

Breathing into trust,

Breathing into your wisdom,

Breathing into your intuition,

Breathing into your knowing.

Allow it to lead you exactly where you need to be.

And as you continue to float on the water,

Notice anything that may appear,

Any words that may appear,

Any sensations that may appear,

No forcing,

No grasping,

Just noticing.

Any wisdom or intuitive guidance that may appear.

And if nothing appears,

Then this is what is right for you today.

You are safe,

There is no judgment.

Inhale awareness,

Exhale and let go of control.

Inhale connection,

Exhale and let go of expectation.

Breathe into trust,

Breathe into your wisdom,

Breathe into your intuition,

And breathe into your knowing.

Allow it to lead you exactly where you need to be.

Breathe,

Breathe into trust.

Trust that your intuition knows the way and will rule your life.

Trust that your intuition knows the way and will reveal to you whatever you need to know.

Take a few moments now to simply be with whatever arises,

Allowing yourself to fully receive whatever comes.

Allowing yourself to fully receive the wisdom and the knowing of your intuition.

Or to simply just be.

In this state of deep space,

Your intention can be heard and it can be integrated at your most authentic level.

If you remember your intention,

Repeat it to yourself in your most heartfelt voice.

Now gently bringing your awareness back to your breath.

Feel the rise and fall of your chest.

Now slowly,

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your physical body.

Feeling the support of the ground beneath you.

And again the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each breath.

Wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes and flutter your eyelids.

If you're ready,

You may gently open your eyes and welcome yourself back.

If it feels right for you to stay where you are for as long as you need,

Then this is what you should do.

Welcome yourself back.

If it feels right for you,

I invite you to stretch and yawn and make some noise.

Rock and roll your body and then just lie on one side.

Support your head with your arm.

And just rest on this side that feels most comfortable for you.

Take this moment to reflect on your experience.

Noticing any insights or feelings that may have arisen during your practice.

And trust that you can carry this connection with your intuition,

With you as you move through your days and your nights.

Guiding you with clarity every step of the way.
