Welcome to this short guided self-love meditation.

In this practice,

We'll connect to our heart space,

Soften any resistance that may be there,

And invite self-love in with ease.

Using our breath,

Our awareness,

And some affirmations,

We'll cultivate a deep love and appreciation for ourselves.

I invite you to find a position that feels comfortable.

You can do this practice seated,

Or lying down,

Or even standing.

You're welcome to bring the eyes to a close,

Turning inward if that feels sufficiently safe.

Otherwise,

You can simply soften and lower the gaze.

We'll take three deep breaths to settle into this space and into this practice.

Inhaling fully through the nose.

And exhaling to sigh it out through the mouth.

Again,

Inhaling fully,

Filling the belly.

And exhaling to sigh it out.

And final time,

Inhaling deeply through the nose,

The deepest breath you've taken all day.

And exhale to let it go.

And coming back to your natural breath,

Inhaling and exhaling through the nose.

With each cycle of breath,

Allowing yourself to settle,

Feeling the gentle hum and rhythm of your breath moving through you,

Anchoring you into this moment.

Beginning to consciously soften the body,

Relaxing the forehead,

And the space between the eyebrows,

Softening the cheeks and the jaw,

Relaxing the neck and the shoulders,

And softening the belly and allowing the body to just grow heavy.

And now bringing your awareness to your chest,

The space around your heart,

Noticing how it feels without judgment,

Just simply observing this space.

As we continue breathing,

Imagining the heart expanding with each inhale,

Creating space for love and kindness and acceptance.

And with every exhale,

Releasing any self-doubt,

Tension,

Or heaviness.

And gently placing one or both hands over the heart,

Feeling the warmth of your own touch,

Knowing that in this moment there's nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to do.

You're simply here for yourself.

You're present,

You're enough,

And you are deeply loved.

I invite you to repeat these affirmations either silently or out loud.

I honor and accept myself just as I am.

I am worthy of love,

Kindness,

And compassion.

My heart is open to giving and receiving love.

I embrace my imperfections with understanding and grace.

Love is always within me,

Available whenever I need it.

And feeling the truth of these words resonating in your body,

Resonating in your spirit,

And just allowing them to settle into your heart,

Becoming a part of your essence,

A part of your very being.

As we release these affirmations,

I invite you to bring your awareness back to your breath.

And just as we started,

We'll end this practice with three deep breaths,

Inhaling fully through the nose,

And exhaling to sigh it out through the mouth.

Inhaling fully,

And exhaling to let it go.

And a final time,

Inhaling,

And exhaling,

And sigh it out,

Beginning to bring gentle movement back into the body,

Maybe wiggling fingers or toes,

Circling wrists and ankles,

Perhaps rolling the shoulders,

Maybe sending the arms up and overhead,

Taking a big stretch.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly,

Gently blinking the eyes open,

Returning to the space around you,

And carrying this sense of self-love with you throughout the rest of your day.

I thank you so much for taking this time for yourself and for allowing me to guide you through this practice.

May you move forward with an open heart and a deep knowing that you are loved and you are loved.

I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day,

And until next time,

Be well.
