Sometimes, life gets way too loud—notifications, endless to-do lists, and the constant buzz of everything happening around you. It's easy to get lost in the chaos and forget to check in with the most important person: YOU! Take a moment to tune out the outside world and listen to your inner voice. The world can wait. Right now, it's all about you, your energy, and what lights you up. This meditation is perfect for mornings, self-compassion, self-esteem, gratitude, healing, happiness, letting go, unwinding, and recharging your energy.

Hi,

I'm Suzy at Unplugged,

And today we're going to be listening to ourselves.

What am I talking about?

Well,

When we get quiet and we get still,

We can actually hear our own inner voice.

And as Ram Dass says,

The quieter you become,

The more you can hear.

But here's the problem is we're actually listening to everyone but ourselves.

When you fill all the space up with scrolling and watching television and making phone calls and listening to what other people say,

It makes it really difficult to hear what you are trying to say to yourself.

We have a subconscious mind,

And it is speaking to us constantly.

But if we're not quiet and still,

We're never going to be able to hear it.

So today,

I'm going to be guiding you through an exercise so you can actually listen to yourself.

So get comfortable.

And when you're ready,

You can close your eyes.

And let's begin by taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

When you're ready and feel comfortable,

Just exhale through the mouth,

Letting go,

Releasing,

Relaxing your face,

Relaxing your shoulder,

Relaxing your body.

And do that a few times on your own.

If you hear noises around you,

That's okay.

Just invite them all in.

Paying attention to your breath as you inhale and exhale.

When you slow down your breath,

You slow down the swirl around you.

I like to start all practice with placing my hand on my heart and just thinking about three things I feel grateful for right now.

What are three things you feel grateful for right now?

Now,

In this beautiful stillness and silence,

We're going to be asking ourselves a few secret questions.

The first one is,

What is my body asking me for today?

What is my body asking me for today?

And just notice what pops up.

Could be movement,

Stretching,

Healthy food,

Whatever pops up for you is right.

And just letting that go,

Taking a moment to just cleanse the palate of your mind by breathing in through your nose,

Deep and slow,

And exhaling through your mouth,

Releasing,

Letting go.

Just follow your breath and notice how your breath breathes you without any effort.

Now,

Asking yourself this next question,

When was the last time I felt fully present?

Just noticing what pops up for you.

Hopefully,

The answer is now because you're paying attention to your breath as you inhale and exhale.

Taking another palate cleanse of the mind by breathing in through your nose,

And exhaling through your mouth,

Releasing,

Letting go.

Just sitting in the stillness and silence for a few moments.

One more long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Audible exhale out through your mouth,

Releasing,

Letting go.

With this final question,

How do I want to show up for myself today?

How do I want to show up for myself today?

Letting go,

Releasing all expectations.

Thank yourself for taking this time for self-care and actually listening to your own inner voice.

You can begin by bringing some movement into your body,

Maybe stretching your arms up above your head,

Wiggling your body,

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

I hope you got some clarity and some beautiful messages.

I know I did in this meditation.

I hope you got some clarity and some beautiful messages.

I hope you got some clarity and some beautiful messages.

I know I did in this meditation.

I hope you got some clarity and some beautiful messages.

I hope you got some clarity and some beautiful messages.

I hope you got some clarity and some beautiful messages.

I hope you got some clarity and some beautiful messages.

Have a gorgeous day.

Thank you for meditating with me.
