Hi,

This is Stephanie Boxerbaum.

Thank you for taking the time to meditate today.

Today's practice is to help set an easy pathway to a peaceful night's sleep.

Now,

For some of us,

We may have those nights where our mind may be restless,

Or perhaps we just don't even feel like going to bed,

But we all know how important sleep is.

And so in these times,

A meditation just like this can help calm the mind,

Ease the body,

And allow for an easier flow as you drift off to sleep.

So with that in mind,

Take a comfortable position.

That could mean laying down,

Perhaps you have a nice comfy pillow for your head,

A blanket so you don't get too cold.

Just finding a place and space that feels really comfortable.

Taking a deep breath in and a gentle exhale out,

Letting the mind begin to just let go of whatever happened today.

Finding peace and calm as you allow the body to start relaxing.

And let's begin by putting some attention into our feet and just calmly saying to yourself,

Relaxing the feet,

Relaxing the feet.

And moving up to the calves,

The knees,

The upper thighs.

Just relaxing the legs.

Feeling the space with peace and calm.

Finding a gentle space to be.

Moving up to the stomach,

Feeling the breath go in and out.

Coming to the heart space.

Feeling yourself with love and care.

Letting go of any tension.

And just reminding yourself.

Gently heading off to bed can be a peaceful time,

A quiet time to let the mind relax and for the body to find stillness.

Coming to the hands and the fingers.

Relaxing the hands and the fingers,

The elbows,

The shoulders.

If it feels comfortable,

You could maybe even just do a little bit of shoulder rolls if that feels comfortable.

Not too big of a movement.

Just something that feels nice and easy if it feels right for you today.

Coming to the neck,

The face,

The top of the head.

Allowing the mind to settle and offering the kind reminder to yourself.

And offering the kind reminder to yourself.

It's okay to relax the body.

It's okay to relax the body.

Allowing yourself to find peace and calm and ease.

Allowing yourself to find peace and calm and ease.

Breathing into this space.

Allowing all tension to fall away.

Knowing you're safe and protected.

Giving yourself these quiet moments.

As you begin to find that easy pathway to a peaceful night's sleep.

Taking a gentle inhale and a deep exhale out.

Giving yourself permission to do whatever feels comfortable.

Maybe you'd like to stretch a little bit.

Just coming back to this place of an easy pathway to a peaceful night's sleep.

And as you come back into the space,

Maybe you're wiggling the fingers and the toes.

Knowing that you don't have to get up.

You don't have to go anywhere.

You could allow this meditation to just ease you right into a peaceful evening.

Thank you so much for meditating today.

And sharing as always the kind reminder that you are always enough.

Have a peaceful evening.
