Sometimes it can be helpful to check in on how we are feeling -- particularly around whether we are feeling some light in our heart. No need for judgment if things are feeling a bit heavy as we can always be exactly how we need to be and this is a meditation to invite a sense of calm --- or add even more light that you are already feeling! Hi,

Everyone.

This is Stephanie Boxerbaum.

Thank you so much for meditating with me today.

For today's practice,

We're going to be really focusing on letting go and bringing in the light.

Oftentimes,

We have so much happening in our lives,

Whether it's work,

Family,

Relationships,

Whatever the case may be,

That it's helpful in our practice to allow some real time to just let our bodies settle,

To come back to a place of ease,

Bring in some self compassion,

And allow for some centered feeling in the body.

So for this practice,

Just coming to a really comfortable seat.

This could be laying down if that's what feels best to you.

And gently closing your eyes.

Taking a gentle deep breath in and a gentle exhale out.

Allowing for the body to simply settle.

Letting go of whatever you were doing before this and whatever you're going to do after.

And just seeing what it feels like to sense into the ease into your body.

Maybe taking a moment to connect in with those places and spaces where you feel maybe some tension,

Or maybe you're just feeling some tension,

Tightness,

And simply breathing into those spaces,

Allowing them to relax,

And sending some care their way.

And we'll rest here for these next few minutes.

Just allowing yourself to gently breathe in,

Gently breathe out.

Knowing that you can be surrounded by ease.

No pressure.

No judgment.

Simple,

Easy breaths.

On this next deep inhale in and gentle exhale out.

Simply inviting yourself to silently ask the question,

What do I need right now?

What do I need right now?

Allowing whatever answer is there to come to the surface.

And without judgment,

Just inviting it in.

Settling here with a gentle ease and gentle breath.

Giving yourself some support and care.

What do I need right now?

Taking another gentle inhale in and a deep exhale out.

Quietly coming to the breath.

Feeling the breath go in,

Sensing the breath coming out,

And visualizing your breath going all the way down to your toes.

Breathing in gentle air.

Exhaling out all the way through down to the toes.

And we'll stay here for these next few minutes.

I'll mind the time.

And just really giving yourself the opportunity to sense into the breath.

Without judgment,

You will have thoughts,

You may find yourself getting caught up in thinking and that's okay.

We can always just start again,

Coming back to the gentle breath.

Taking another last gentle inhale in and a deep exhale out.

Thanking yourself for taking the time to practice today.

These moments are not small.

It is so courageous to allow some stillness in your life when you can make it happen.

So beginning to come into the surroundings around you maybe wiggling your fingers and toes.

Giving yourself some good care for whatever you plan to do next.

And as always sharing the reminder that you are always enough as is.

Thanks so much for meditating with me today and I hope to be meditating again with you soon.
