Greetings and welcome to this re-recording of an Enlightened Engagement Talk given on the topic of the three energy centers.
I'm Hasse Sedeghi and the reason I host these Enlightened Engagement Talks is to reveal ancient teachings of the Masters in a way that is synthesized so you as a leader can wield this potent wisdom for powerful impact and transformation in your life.
As I like to say,
Together we are rising and I invite you to sit back and absorb this information.
If you like what you hear,
Feel free to follow me,
Listen to my meditations and attend the lives.
First of all,
I'd like to begin with a preface that this is in the theme of the age of synthesis and synthesizing various traditions of the spiritual sciences,
Mystic arts,
And infusing modern technology and sciences to bring together this information,
This wisdom in a way that's not only holistic,
That's practical.
First of all,
We have this concept of the Holy Trinity or the Triune which is oftentimes represented as the number three.
In the Taoist tradition,
You have this notion of the one became the two became the three and the three became the all.
In all of these various traditions,
They were essentially speaking to how these three universal energies or archetypes were represented.
And because there is a microcosm reflected in our body of the greater macrocosm,
These three main pumps or energy centers which we will talk about today,
Which are the mind,
The heart,
And the will center,
The three centers.
They do correlate to the chakras.
If you watch the movie Doctor Strange,
You will see Cumberbatch's character meet with the character called the One,
At which point she shows him a few images and says that these all overlay.
So,
Again,
This is the age where we synthesize various maps or ways of understanding for a holistic view.
These three centers do correlate with the chakras,
Which is another energy system we have in our bodies.
So today we're going to dive into the first center,
The top center,
The center of the mind.
This center is found in the center of your forehead.
In the various traditions in the shamanism,
They refer to it as the upper world.
In the Taoist tradition or traditional Chinese medicine,
This was the center of G energy,
G J I.
In psychology,
They refer to it as the supra-consciousness,
And it is the access point through this third eye point to the celestial,
To the higher worlds.
In the ascension sciences,
They refer to it as the center of the divine mind.
Obviously,
In science,
This is where the brain is,
So this is the also physical mind.
In the Vedic tradition,
This holy trinity or triune was represented as the Brahma,
Vishnu,
And Shiva.
This is the center of the Brahma or the divine mind center.
So if you're following along,
This energy center,
This energy pump operates the mindscape.
The mindscape oftentimes,
Our mind,
This energy center,
Gets blocked by limiting beliefs or thoughts.
That's why in the Buddhist and various mindfulness and vipassana and many other mindfulness oriented traditions,
They say to let your thoughts float out.
So in a moment,
We're going to transition into an understanding of hacks or techniques and tools you can use to not only open this energy center,
To also optimize it and access what is known as the divine mind,
Or in the Taoist tradition known as blue sky mind.
Now before we dive into the technique for this energy center,
I'd also like to give you what I'm going to call a little extra credit,
Which is an understanding that we also have a back chamber for these centers.
Now here,
If you were to call the mind center or this energy center the third eye,
In the back,
You have the back of the neck in particular,
The fourth eye,
Which would essentially be like the back chamber or the back of this valve.
And that's important to consider because in the advanced mystical schools or ancient mystery schools or secret societies,
They used to often refer to opening both the third eye or the mind eye,
Mind's eye,
As well as the fourth eye or the back.
So FYI,
Open your eye,
Make sure it's both the front eye and the back eye.
There you go,
A little impromptu poetry flowing for you.
So the technique with all three centers,
It oftentimes helps if you're listening,
If you're a beginner,
In a sense we're all beginners,
If you're beginning with this information or these practices,
Or if you're more advanced,
As a beginner,
I found when I was in your shoes,
It would help to literally close my eyes and then take my hand for instance,
And this is in particular more helpful when we get to the heart and will center later in this talk,
To put my hand on the part I want to open.
So in this instance,
When you close your eyes,
Put your hand or fingers maybe on your third eye or center of your brow,
It can even help to rub it downwards,
Activating the vagal nerve or the insular part of your brain,
I-N-S-U-L-A-R,
And if you rub this and then you want to go into it with your awareness,
Go into the center of your mind,
And it helps to vocalize with an affirmation,
Where the mind goes,
The energy flows,
Right?
So take your awareness to the mind and then visually see it as a valve or a pump or maybe a flower blossoming and then will it open by saying,
My mind is open,
Or maybe my center of my mind or my inner mind,
Whatever resonates,
My mind is open and feel it like a valve opening.
Now the significance of this is if you build enough awareness or known as interoception,
Inner awareness of these subtle energy systems,
What will happen is you'll be able to access higher and higher states of awareness and then master your inner energies more effectively,
Which obviously translates to better performance,
More transformation,
Health,
Etc.
So after we've opened it,
Which we've gone inside,
Closed our eyes,
Maybe tapped it or rubbed it downwards to calm us,
You open it,
Feel it opening like a valve,
And the other thing we do is what I call whole brain synchronization and there is a YouTube video,
You can Google Hasadegi and check out a YouTube video I've done on this.
I have many good videos under a series called Leadership Alchemy Series and you want to check out the whole brain synchronization if you want to see more details and visually see it if you're like me and you're a visual learner.
So with this technique of whole brain synchronization,
You take your left fingers and you grab your right earlobe and then you take your right hand over and across to your left earlobe and essentially you're grabbing with your three fingers,
Your thumb and your index and middle finger,
Your earlobes left to the right earlobe and then over your left hand,
Your right hand,
Almost like you're crossing your chest and you're grabbing your earlobes and you're breathing in.
This synchronizes both halves of your brain,
Both hemispheres,
So that after you've opened it,
Opened the valve,
Then you do this and then third step,
You do what's called blue sky mind.
What do I mean by that?
Visualize like a moon roof or a sun roof,
The top of your head,
If you've used the valve analogy and that helped,
Like another valve on the top of your head opening,
Literally the top of your head like as if you were to take the skull off.
See if you can open it and see if you can extend your mind to the cosmic mind and that is what blue sky mind meant.
That's an analogy or a metaphor for merging your mental awareness,
Your mindscape as I call it with the universal mindscape.
So physically you can visualize and feel the sensation of your mind and command it to open,
The top of your head to open and then feel your energy expanding outwards.
Again,
You can check out the video that may help sync this in a little bit more.
So that is the first energy center starting at the top moving downwards.
Now moving down the central column to the second energy center,
That of the heart.
So here obviously the mind,
You had the brain,
Here science has shown that we actually have a mini brain in the heart.
There's a great institute known as HeartMath Institute amongst many others I'm sure that does great research and has a lot of wonderful information if you want to Google heart math if you haven't already heard of them.
And about 10 to 15 years ago they uncovered science that there is actually a little anatomical essentially equivalent of a brain in your heart and that the theory now has been upended that the heart may actually govern the brain and a lot of the automatic performance such as breathing and respiratory such as that isn't actually controlled by the mind.
So a lot of the science is being upended and finally we're at an age of synthesis where the science and spirituality are meeting.
So this second center obviously is in the middle of your chest as heart indicates where the anatomical heart is.
In the shamanism this is the relational center.
This is the middle world or the world we live in.
In the traditional Chinese medicine or the Taoist tradition they say that this is where Shen energy which is not love force,
Heart force energy in a sense comes out.
And this is the home of Vishnu if you were to use that Vedic Trinity which is a representation of the energy of divine love.
So if the first center is divine mind this is divine love.
And as I said about the mind you know you have this concept of a lower mind and then a divine mind.
Here we're not talking about divine love.
We're not talking about romantic love,
Love,
Love.
We're talking about divine love,
Agape,
Unconditional love,
The highest frequency of light and sound possible which some say is what God is.
It is a field of this divine love energy.
So the heart essentially houses this.
Now how to access this is the key that we're going to talk about.
As I said before,
Much like the mind,
The first step is to open this center or valve.
So as I said earlier if you're new to this practice it could help to put your hand on your heart.
Maybe thump your chest or rub your chest to get more awareness there.
Thump your mind into your heart.
My mind is in my heart.
Literally command it,
Bring it down,
Bring your interoception into your heart.
And what you can do is then say as I said earlier with the mind center on this second center now,
Open the valve and feel it opening,
See it opening much like you would a valve or a flower blossoming.
Now as we said there's a back chamber for all of these three centers.
So you had the mind,
You had the third and fourth eye.
Here in secret text in ancient mystery schools they refer to the secret chamber of the heart.
They were essentially speaking about the back of the heart.
And sometimes you'll find when you're nervous and you have constriction emotionally or you have heartbreak you will have physical sensations or pain or constriction or restriction in the front.
Now what's fascinating is many of us are so closed off to the back chamber of the heart which is in between the shoulder blades you may sometimes get a massage and then cry when the masseuse is rubbing this area because essentially they're activating the back heart chamber.
There is a theory that the secret chambers of the temple of Solomon or the most innermost chamber was called the holiest of holies and represented this secret back of the heart chamber.
And so when you open the front on this first step I invite you to also practice opening the back.
And if you're new to these types of body experiences or meditative and energetic practices it's all good.
You want to maybe lean back against the chair or see if you can put some physical pressure on it then breathe into it if you can and then literally feel that body area relaxing maybe feeling your shoulder blades opening up.
And then as earlier saying I open my front you can say I open my back heart chamber or I open the back of my heart and feel it opening.
So make sure you open the front and the back.
This can be intense for many so obviously an overarching disclaimer to be careful with these practices if you're new to them reach out if I can be of any support and obviously use these with your own discernment and consciousness.
So after you open this valve now I should back up for one moment so the heart center or the heart scape oftentimes becomes blocked because of charges emotional charges or old energies because the heart in a way is like a tuning fork or pitching fork.
It is a receiver hence why e-motions are oftentimes as you may have heard energies and motions.
So the heart is really the key to opening the heart or optimizing the heart is attunement.
Attunement so you want to attune your heart to get rid of old charges or old energy stored there.
So what attunement is is essentially attuning your heart as I used earlier pitching fork or tuning fork analogy you want to attune your heart to a frequency.
So the highest frequency and the easiest frequency to help attune your heart is often gratitude as is the case with many gratitude practices.
The reason they're doing this is because gratitude is the highest vibrational energy which is kind of equivalent to love in terms of its frequency and vibration.
So the easiest way to attune your heart after you've opened the heart center front and back is to literally re-experience a grateful event or a joyful or happy experience.
A recent win at work perhaps perhaps a romantic experience with a lover a family member a great meal a great trip something recent.
Conjure and re-invoke it in your heart.
Breathe into your heart visualize it re-invite all of the senses back to that experience.
And by doing this you attune your heart to this highest vibrational frequency of gratitude through re-experiencing this happy event.
And what ends up happening is you then attune your heart to this higher divine energy opening and optimizing this energy center.
Now moving on to the third and last center before we then connect the three with another hidden key of technique.
Let's wind down on this last center known as the power or will center located in the solar plexus or navel region.
So as I said earlier they do correlate to chakras so this is literally the corresponding to the solar plexus or navel in between the solar plexus chakra and the navel.
Now what's interesting is when you do body work or any type of advanced somatosensory experience and healing of the body you'll find that you will have constriction in the center of your stomach and if you think about it many people oftentimes hold their guts not only empaths any human will do this.
And I'll explain why when we get to how you can hack this center in a moment.
Before we do so let me explain the significance of this power center.
So this power center is known as the lower world in shamanism the underworld or the subconscious and if you think about it that kind of makes sense it's where a lot of your emotions and energies are burned up or processed it's kind of like a furnace if you think about it you get a fire in your belly is the old adage or cliche and so this is our connection to the terrestrial energies or the shadow side some say and it is the center of chi energy known in the Chinese tradition in the Taoist tradition as the don tien or the great pearl the center of our life force or willpower and this houses our divine power which is different from regular power it is a more shall I say pure sense of the use of power and in the Vedic tradition it is the center of Shiva hence why I said earlier it could be a destructive force does it mean destruction is bad destruction is a part of nature or also known as divine will energy will can oftentimes be expressed as a destructive force hence this energy center this willpower or naval center is responsible for processing a lot of our energies a lot of our heavier energies so to speak now the key to this center is the nervous system some of you may have heard of the vagus nerve or polyvagal theory it's a very newer sciences the last 10 or 15 years in terms of trauma research healing work and really advanced body work what I call more advanced or integrated or synthesized body work now the vagal nerve is like a tree it comes down from the brain and it really branches out in the lungs and this solar plexus region and what I found from my own personal experience was that this center tends to have a constriction so when I did body work on myself and I got healers to work on me many years ago I would find that literally the center of the stomach when they would touch it or push into it it was like locked and it was that direct correlation with the vagal nerve because it passes through there we tense and hold a lot of tension and constriction and this is partially well I shouldn't say partially this is mostly due to the stress response and because so many of us humans are fried out and burned out because none of us really got a human users manual only incarnated we're now catching up and learning our proper use or proper bio function again this is why this information is meant to be used practically to impact your life not meant to be merely theoretical so with this being said what I'm saying in other words is the nervous system needs to be restored and the key is the vagal nerve more or less as we're finding out and the vagal nerve runs directly through this center so how do we do that well as I said with the other two centers you want to open this valve or this energy pump so as we did before it would help to put your hand on it especially since this is really far from your mind and we spent so much of our days in our mind and if you're newer to this practice that's why you want to build your interoception or your body awareness so start by putting your hand on your stomach your navel it can help to kind of you know push in a little bit so you can really bring your awareness my mind is in my body my mind is in the center I open this center and you want to literally and this may feel intense if you've never done this work so again be careful use discernment you may want to even literally see if you can relax as you breathe in relax your stomach see if you can literally feel your actual stomach muscles relaxing and letting that drop and release and as you do this visualize a valve opening like a flower blossoming and as I said every one of these centers has a corresponding back chamber in fact this one the solar plexus has a back called the Ming Main very well known in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine it is a very big power center correlates to if I'm not mistaken our kidney energy a life force energy being pumped throughout our body so you want to literally open the front and the back if extra credit as I called it so bringing our awareness opening and then a old technique which I sense has unanticipated scientific benefits ocean breath or Ujjayi breath is very effective which is deep breathing deep and steady breathing through the mouth down the throat which oftentimes sounds like an ocean like this now you can breathe through the mouth is what many people do since I've converted to nose breathing mainly and I find it helps me keep my nose breathing intact which from my understanding is optimal breath work and optimizes your O2 and CO2 systems is I do it through my nose on this one it is traditionally Ujjayi or ocean breath is recommended as a breath through the mouth so whatever resonates a little pointer there on a side note is breathe in either way if you do it through the nose or the mouth you want to do it through the back of the throat so it sounds deep like the ocean again is the analogy so and you want to feel it as you make that noise and deep through the throat you want to feel that go down the center and you want to see as best as you can breathe and pass the air over the vagal nerve as I alluded to earlier which is that part of the nervous system which really helps us soothe and calm down which then allows us to open this energy center so little bit more on the technical side here because there is that interplay with the nervous system so in a nutshell you open as we did with the other two centers and then ocean breath doesn't matter nose or mouth the key is that the back of the throat and you're breathing deep and as in you're pumping the air as deep as you can downwards and allow it to pass over the nervous system so it literally is like it's miss the breath is massaging the vagus nerve and by doing this it really helps not only relax your nervous system it helps you relax this power center opens it up so you can then help harness and transform and use your energy more effectively so now that we've covered these three centers a point to make is everything is one all one or as I say in the name of the one everything is connected so technically some say there is not really seven chakras there are only one chakra that we're learning to reconnect it's one energy field that we're learning to reconnect so by saying this what I mean is there is a technique that we're going to do really quickly I'll walk you through I should say really quickly which connects these three centers and one way it's taught is from the traditional excuse me the ancient mystical side of Taoism called cosmic orbit or cosmic orbit breath which essentially is breathing up the back inhaling up the back from the solar plexus to the back of the heart to the fourth eye the back of the neck up and around and then you exhale down the front which is from the mind to the heart to the solar plexus so it's essentially inhaling up the back exhaling down the front and when you do this you're connecting of course you're going to stop at the centers and connect them through the breath and then inhale up and then exhale down connecting the three in the front and it's like you're creating a cycle or circuit you're connecting these three energies you do want to be careful if you're new to these practices perhaps do some energy clearing work before you do this because it can spread if you have not done advanced work before the lower energies from the lower centers up to the higher centers so be careful again I'm intending that this information be given in a more synthesized way so it can optimize the reach so some of you listening may be newer some of you may be more advanced so when you do this technique to connect these three energy centers known as the cosmic orbit please again practice discernment and use care as well so again inhaling up the back from the set back of the solar plexus back of the heart back of the mind which is the fore thigh and then coming around the head down exhaling the mind exhaling down to the heart connecting the heart to the solar plexus and then inhaling back around so you do that see how it works play around with that so this has been the inaugural and first of these recordings please do follow me I'm Hasa Dage check out the quantum circle where we'll be gathering on this app and take a look and be on the lookout for my gratitude gatherings which are heart attunement energetic practice every Friday three times a month take a look for the enlighten engagement talks the next one will be on the fourth Friday of the month and then we will also have once a month a quantum gathering around the full moon which is more of an advanced journey visualization journey as well as really an energetic practice and meditation so please do join me and the rest of the tribe forming and thank you for listening and I hope this information has been useful and helps you not only impact and transform your life bring forward your calling your spark and mission so you can in turn go and do what you're here to do as a leader and so we can all continue to rise together.
