Hello.

You need a minute.

Whatever happened to destabilize you,

Just take a moment to inhale,

Then exhale.

Keep your eyes open.

You may be at work,

In a car line,

In traffic,

Or just not in a position to be other than where you are.

Let's take five short breaths on the inhale.

Hold.

Let's exhale one long breath.

Take one deep inhale,

Then exhale.

Let's repeat the cycle with five short breaths on the inhale.

Hold.

Let's exhale one long breath.

Take one deep inhale,

Then exhale.

Continue breathing normally.

When things happen or are heard,

It's easy to tumble off balance and feel overloaded.

Because this is important to you,

It feels natural to react or race after a solution before dealing with your own emotions.

Today,

You're shifting the approach.

You're leveling your emotions first.

Today,

I invite you to be still,

My friend.

Let's take one deep inhale,

Then exhale.

Continue breathing normally.

Remember that you are resilient.

You are grounded.

Right now,

You're giving yourself some time,

Even if it's these few minutes,

To ask yourself,

How do I feel?

Now what's going on?

Instead of the other way around,

You approach your situation with stability and strength.

One more deep inhale,

Exhale.

You are peaceful.

Well done.

Today,

You're showing up differently.

Come back to this meditation whenever you need a few minutes to reset.
