The Waning Moon encourages us to prune back our outer expressive and active landscapes. To seek sacred space. This meditation serves to bring awareness to areas we are uprooted. Softly gathering them back into the body, enabling one to experience their own sheltering presence within.

Welcome.

This morning I was going to share with you a meditation.

And if you want to go ahead and find a comfortable seated position or you can be lying down either way.

Making sure your body is all cozy and feeling safe and in alignment.

We can begin by just finding our natural breath.

No need to change it.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Maybe closing the eyelids or keeping the eyes open.

Whatever works best for you.

Just take a few moments here to bring your attention to your mind's eye or the area just between your eyes.

You can imagine this area gathering warmth and softening down into your jaw and the muscles of your neck.

Releasing the jaw and placing the tip of your tongue on the area just behind the front teeth and the top of the mouth.

I'm going to apply just a little bit of pressure here.

And bring the awareness down through the body down into the heart space and the area behind the heart.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Your images,

Feelings,

Letting those arise for you.

Just watching them like clouds passing by in the sky without any need to grasp or attach yourself.

We'll take a few moments here to reel ourselves inward on the in breath.

So releasing our outward attention and just bringing that in,

Bringing it home on the in breath and resting on the out breath.

So reeling it in on the in breath,

Resting on the out breath.

We'll continue to bring that attention down through the core of our body.

Just letting it drop slowly like a stone through water.

All the way to the area just below your belly and just letting it go.

Reeling yourself in,

Let the belly grow full with your breath and release and let go.

Rest.

Bringing deeper and deeper states of relaxation.

Letting go a little bit more with each breath.

Allowing your body to be held in this gravity,

In this space between heaven and earth.

Let go and put your hands up here in aagency.

And breathing in and breathing out nothing to do no where you have to be no one to please but you no one to please but you no one to please but you gently,

Softly,

When you are ready and no sooner taking your thumb and grazing it across the tips of each finger gently fluttering the eyes open and letting the world stream in from this space taking time to enjoy this moment and this moment in this moment namaste
