During this meditation, focusing on your heart center at the chest and noticing your breath's gentle rise and fall likely brought a sense of calm and relaxation. By mentally repeating "I love and accept myself just as I am" and "I forgive myself for any wrongdoing," you may have felt a release of negative emotions, fostering a feeling of self-compassion and peace. This practice helps to clear your mind, promoting emotional healing and a positive outlook, leaving you with a lighter, more accepting sense of self and a deepened connection to your inner well-being. Heart Meditation The Heart Meditation allows you to connect to your heart's centre,

Coming to a comfortable seated position with the spine erect,

Or lying down if you prefer,

Placing your hand in the heart's centre,

At the centre of the chest,

In alignment with the armpits.

Bring a gentle smile to the face,

And smile to your heart,

And the heart smiles back at you,

Noticing the rise and the fall of the breath in the body.

Mentally say to yourself,

I love and accept myself,

Just as I am.

I love and accept myself,

Just as I am.

I forgive myself for any wrongdoings.

I forgive myself for any wrongdoings.

Continue smiling,

Accepting,

And staying there,

Or if you have the eyes closed,

Gently opening the eyes.
