In this 10-minute morning meditation, we'll imagine the sun's warm glow, helping us feel positive and ready for the day ahead. We'll take deep breaths and say some affirmations to set a good vibe for what's to come. To finish off, we'll gently massage our face, giving ourselves a little pick-me-up. It's a simple way to relax and get into a positive mindset. After this meditation, we'll be all set to tackle whatever the day throws our way with a renewed sense of energy and purpose.

Allowing yourself to find a comfortable position,

It might be seated,

It might be lying,

It might even be standing,

And then bring your hands to the stomach area,

If you feel comfortable doing that,

And visualize the sun here.

Imagine the sun coming up over the horizon,

See it illuminating everything it touches,

The ocean,

The hills,

The grass,

And your skin.

Feel the sun touching your body,

Feeling it warming up,

Warming up the body and waking it up.

Imagine you can hear birds chirping,

And the roosters crowing as they greet the sun,

See the flowers opening gratefully,

Tilting towards the light.

You tilt your head up,

Like the flowers,

And you drink in every ounce of sunlight,

Feeling it washing over you and around you,

And invigorating every part of your body.

Feel the sun illuminating your mind,

Bringing sunny thoughts to it,

Take a gentle breath in and out,

And mentally say,

I am grateful for this day.

I am grateful for this day,

And feel that gratitude flow through you,

As you breathe easily and enjoy this wonderful moment of pure appreciation.

I am grateful for this day.

Bring the awareness to the body,

Feeling appreciation moving through each part of the body,

As you mentally say,

I am grateful for my body,

And feel that deep within your bones,

The gratitude,

I am grateful for my body,

Thank you body,

I am grateful for my mind,

Expressing your thanks to your beautiful,

Unique mind,

I am grateful for my mind,

Feel that appreciation move through your head,

I am grateful for my mind,

I am grateful for everything that I will experience today,

Whether that's good or bad,

I welcome the highs and the lows,

And know that everything is a lesson,

I am grateful for everything that I will experience today,

Every experience is an opportunity for growth,

I am grateful for everything I will experience today,

And take some deep inhales,

And exhale,

As you allow those affirmations to be felt within you,

And if there's anything else you'd like to be grateful for,

You can mentally say,

I am grateful for,

And then add your own words,

I'm grateful for this day.

Then perhaps bring the hands together,

We're hoping to create some warmth,

And place your hands over the eyes,

Relaxing and soothing in the warmth and darkness,

Bring your fingertips to the center of the forehead,

Elbows out to the side,

And press down firmly as you draw your fingers out toward the temples,

Circling the temples,

And do that another two times,

From the center of the forehead,

Press down firmly,

Draw your fingertips out to the temples,

Circling the temples,

And last one from the center of the forehead,

Out toward the temples,

And circling the temples,

And then continue that circle motion down by the cheeks and the jaw,

And a gentle pull on the lobes of the ears,

The sides of the ears,

And the tops of the ears,

All over the ears,

In particular the tops of the ears,

You press there,

In Chinese medicine that helps with anxiety,

It also relates to the whole of the body,

The whole of the ear,

So maybe just give a little rub toward the backs of the ears,

Where it connects to the head,

The front of the ears as well,

It connects to the face,

And then squeezing down the arms,

And if you haven't already,

You can gently open the eyes,

Take a moment to notice how you're feeling,

Have a great day.
