Meditation for sensory overload.

Close your eyes.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in.

Allow your lungs to fill with soothing air.

And exhale,

Release any tension you might be holding.

Breathing in and away.

In and away.

Imagine yourself in a serene,

Tranquil place.

Perfectly suited to bring you comfort and peace.

This might be a place you know,

Or an imagined place.

Notice the lighting,

The gentle sounds,

The comforting textures around you.

And visualize a magical,

Protective bubble of light around you.

This bubble acts as a shield for filtering out any excess sensory input that may cause you to feel overwhelmed or anxious.

And with each breath you take,

Imagine this bubble becoming stronger and stronger.

It envelops you completely,

Creating a safe place where only calmness and relaxation can penetrate.

Feel a deep sense of relief and tranquility as you bask in the soothing embrace of this protective bubble.

And focus now on your breathing in calmness,

Out stress.

In calm,

Out stress.

Allow your body to sink deeper into relaxation with each and every breath.

Remind yourself you are in control.

You have the power to manage your sensory experiences and create a sense of inner peace.

Feeling confident and centered.

Know that this serene place is always accessible within you.

Awareness to your toes.

Move the toes.

And when you're ready,

Bring the awareness back to the present moment.

Open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of calm and control with you as you continue your day.
