Finding yourself a comfortable seated position with the spine nice and long perhaps lifting the shoulders and rolling them back and down releasing out any tension you are holding in your jaw bringing the awareness to the sensations of the body breathing noticing where you can feel the breath perhaps you feel it in the chest the abdomen or maybe you feel the breath coming in and out of the nostrils taking a moment to allow the mind to settle into this moment focusing on the body and the breath and it's perfectly natural for the mind to wander and we're beginning to train our mind and when the mind wanders into those thoughts bringing the awareness back to the breath and the body and watching the breath coming and going inhaling breathing in energy lightness and exhale releasing out any fear taking another deep breath in and when you exhale feeling yourself letting go of any worries noticing how relaxed you are becoming right now awareness to my voice taking another breath in and as you let it go notice how relaxed and at ease you feel allow a gentle wave of relaxation to sweep over you as you breathe in and as you breathe out allow your breath to flow naturally now as you breathe in you can mentally say i'm breathing in peace in peace and breathing out letting go as you breathe in calm out letting go you deserve this moment you deserve this rest you deserve this wonderful feeling of serenity you are open now to receive new thoughts and you open up even more with each breath you take to new energy to fresh energy bringing up a feeling of abundance as if you have so much that your cup pours over for others to enjoy the abundance you have created imagine you feel energized and even if that feels not true for yourself now imagine it vividly see feel get a sense of energy and optimism if it helps you can imagine as if you're watching a movie of yourself you see the colors brightly and you watch yourself taking steps towards achievement staying with your breath and allowing your intentions to remain positive positive even if you don't feel positive in this moment imagine what being joyful is like or bringing to mind a joyful experience in your life breathing in to this joy you are creating and notice how you are consciously shifting any depressed or anxious thoughts right now shifting more into peaceful feelings instead by following your breath in my voice breathing deeply letting your exhale completely relax you any negative thoughts become smaller and smaller it's as if you are riding away in a car it's as if you are riding away in a car and these negative thoughts are sitting along the roadside shrinking into the distance as you ride away with ease as you see those thoughts go you are freed from their grip if you have any negative thoughts arise drop them off on the side of the road and ride away watching them grow smaller and smaller until they are consumed by the horizon allow yourself a few moments to simply be resting here and simply being mentally saying to yourself i am worthy and whole i am willing to let go of who i have thought i should be i am willing to enter the adventure of who i really am i am willing to light the lantern of self-love as i light this lantern of self-love i see my inner beauty i choose to be gentle and kind with myself i choose to be gentle and kind with myself rest in this moment of stillness if your mind wanders draw in the awareness to my voice bring your awareness bring your awareness to your breath watching the flow of the breath in and out in and out or when you're ready and gently open the eyes
