In the rush of daily life,

Many overlook the profound simplicity of each breath.

Since the dawn of our being,

The breath has faithfully accompanied us,

Adapting to every moment with effortless grace,

Ushering profound healing on all levels.

Let us acknowledge our sacred breath.

Acknowledge its boundless gifts by indulging in five intentional and purposeful breaths.

With each inhale,

Expand your being.

Welcome in the life-giving force of oxygen,

Holding it briefly to absorb its essence.

And as you exhale,

Feel the gentle cascade of relaxation envelop you,

A soothing balm for the soul.

With each successive breath,

Feel the purity of oxygen infusing every cell,

Cleansing and revitalizing your entire being.

Notice how effortlessly your body responds,

Relaxing into a state of serene harmony.

With the completion of each cycle,

Revel in the abundance of oxygen flooding into your system.

It restores you to your natural state of being.

In this moment,

We embody the essence of our true selves.

Breathing deeply and fully is an act of self-compassion,

A loving embrace of our innermost being.

Allow your breath to flow naturally now.

As you continue this journey inward,

Begin by directing your awareness to the center of your being.

The crown of your head.

Allow your attention to gently cascade down like a gentle stream to your eyes.

Feel your eyes relax and feel very heavy.

Now focus on the back of your head,

Where it meets the supporting surface beneath you.

Sense the weight of your head resting,

Surrender to the comforting embrace Now,

Bring awareness to your nose.

Attune to the delicate dance of air as it flows in and out with each breath.

With each inhalation,

Infuse the air with your breath.

Vision yourself imbued with the healing essence of nature's medicine.

And with each exhale,

Feel yourself becoming heavier and deeply relaxed.

Sinking so heavily into your mattress.

Feeling the sensation of the mattress beneath you.

Your mind may wander,

But it will always return back to the sound of my voice.

I invite every vibration to wash over you like a gentle wave that carries you even deeper into relaxation.

Allow my voice to be your guiding beacon.

Its soothing resonance leads you on this journey within.

And let all other sounds serve as a vehicle for deeper healing.

As you surrender fully to the therapeutic power of the present moment.

Now gently shift your awareness to your mouth.

How does it feel?

Notice any sensations,

Any subtle movements or textures.

Allow your mouth to soften and your jaw may slightly part into the profound serenity of this moment.

Imagine the sensation of biting into a ripe piece of your favorite fruit.

Feel the burst of flavors and the subtle release of saliva.

Now gently shift your attention to your neck and shoulders.

Relax your shoulders and slowly journey down each arm all the way to your fingertips.

How does your fingertips feel against the surface that they touch?

Embrace the sensation with gentle awareness.

Direct your focus to your chest and upper back.

Allow them to fully relax.

Let go and imagine that your awareness rests upon your heart.

Feel its steady rhythm supporting you.

Relax into this feeling of profound love for yourself.

Bring your attention to your lungs.

Feel them expand and contract with each breath,

Nourishing your body with life-giving oxygen.

Allow your awareness to travel through your vital organs and digestive system.

Observe the effortless ease of digestion.

Feel your lower back pressing against the mattress beneath you.

Let go and relax.

Focus on your pelvis and hips.

Feel any sensations present.

Each moment of awareness deepens your state of relaxation and fosters healing from within.

Continue to journey down each leg,

Allowing them to fully relax.

These legs have carried you through countless experiences and deserve this moment of rest.

Feel the wave of relaxation enveloping your knees,

Lower legs,

And feet,

Extending to the very tips of your toes.

Now let's reverse our path.

Drawing in your favorite color as we go.

Imagine this color imbued with deep healing properties.

Flowing up from your toes,

Filling each part of your body it touches with its restorative energy.

Feel this color envelop your entire being,

From your toes to the top of your head,

Bathing you in its healing glow.

And notice how completely relaxed you are.

Your entire body feels completely calm.

Take a moment to bask in the sensation of deep relaxation.
