Whether you consciously know or not,

You chose a purpose for this lifetime.

You chose something unique to be,

Do,

Accomplish and give to humanity.

Furthermore,

You are also blessed with the gift of intuition,

A gut feeling,

Your sixth sense,

The still,

Small voice within that is designed to help guide you towards your purpose and your highest good.

Let's take a seated position or lie down.

Allow your body to settle into a relaxed state.

Make sure that you are comfortable so that you are not distracted during the duration of this meditation.

Throughout any given day,

Our consciousness is usually seated in the head,

In the mind.

Let's start to shift your awareness,

Your center of gravity to your belly.

Feel the breath as it flows through your belly area.

Offer yourself the gift of presence by stepping away from the distractions of the outer world and focus on your inner world.

Use the breath as an anchor to anchor you into your body and to this moment.

The biggest secret to accessing and hearing your intuition is to find presence and stillness.

Only once we are connected to our inner self can we begin to hear its voice,

Its wisdom.

So let's continue to anchor into this moment and into the self by focusing on our breath.

Inhale,

Fully filling your lungs with fresh air.

Exhale,

Breathing out everything that your body no longer needs.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Listening to your intuition means trusting yourself completely.

As you tune into the intuitive self,

The inner sixth sense,

There is a space of knowing the self.

A self which is outside of conditioning,

Personality structure,

Cultural expectations,

Power structures.

When you are conditioned by these factors,

These outside sources,

It becomes hard to trust yourself.

You become suspicious of even trusting your inner voice.

You don't know what to trust.

You don't even know what you really want or desire.

Because most of these ones have been handed down to you through this conditioning.

So we need to separate ourselves from the ego,

Our parents' opinions,

What we learned from school,

So that we can truly hear our inner wisdom,

That intuitive knowing.

We need to separate from the past versions of our self,

The version that lived behind a mask,

That did things only for external validation or recognition,

That did things because we were taught it was the right thing to do.

When you tune into your intuition,

That version of yourself no longer resonates.

It no longer seems real.

You recognize the illusion for what it is and you step into the authentic being.

What does it feel like to give your attention to your inner world,

To the intuition within?

Tuning into your inner compass for direction,

It can create some discomfort,

Some doubts can come up,

Like who am I to trust this inner voice?

Because we are trained from a young age to mistrust ourselves.

We are conditioned to follow the rules.

We are placed into societal paradigms which tell us which way to go,

What makes us worthy,

What will make us successful,

Where we fit into the world.

When you listen to your inner voice,

The intuition,

Something wakes up within you.

Your inner intuition is subtle,

It's quiet,

But it is not weak.

The ego will say how and why something should be done,

But intuition is not like that.

It just knows.

The intuitive self is not a pushover.

It has a backbone and it stands its ground.

Most people aren't taught to stand on the expectation of others.

We don't even really know where those expectations came from,

Whether they are healthy,

Useful.

We just have received them and now at this moment,

We are taking deeper inquiry to explore.

What are those things that you really desire,

That your heart desires?

What life itself requires from you?

Sometimes it can look like letting go of your parents' expectations,

Your employers' expectations,

Even the subconscious expectations of yourself.

You are no longer abdicating your authority to something outside of yourself.

You are finding out what is trustworthy.

To tune into your inner compass,

There has to be a willingness to fail,

Because for so long,

Our inner compass has been deactivated.

And so,

It is a little bit like learning how to walk when you are a baby.

You've just got to try it out.

See what it's like.

Take a step.

And perhaps you may fall,

But then you get back up.

And then you take two steps,

Three steps,

Four steps,

And then there's balance.

Ah,

I'm doing it.

I'm learning.

I'm activating intuition.

Take a breath right now.

As you inhale,

Feel a sense of the new agreements flooding your body,

Which activate your highest and purest potential to be your authentic self.

As you exhale,

Exhale the old agreements,

The old expectations that have kept you stuck for too long in someone else's path,

That have kept you in some old story that no longer serves you.

It's completely okay to feel like the inner voice is a mystery.

The inner voice is so out of tune that nothing is coming through right now.

That's okay.

Whatever it is,

Know that it is here with you right now.

It is trustworthy and it seeks to present itself.

Intuition,

The inner voice,

The spiritual instinct,

The inner sixth sense.

You can trust that it is here.

It hasn't left you.

It can speak through your body.

It can speak through the vibrations of your heart.

When you start to create a relationship,

A bond with this inner voice,

Your inner knowing,

It will become more clear when you aren't listening to or paying attention to it.

Something will just feel off.

But when you are listening to the intuitive self,

You are more in flow.

When you are in flow of intuition,

You shift from life happening to you,

To life happening through you.

You become the channel of life.

Trusting yourself may throw you into a space where everything old empties itself.

Everything you thought you knew,

Loved or needed proves no longer useful.

So it can feel a bit unstable.

But the question you must ask yourself is,

Is it worth it?

So what will you choose today?

What voice will you listen to?

This type of liberation is a hard one,

But it is worth it.

It is absolutely worth living a life where you are honoring your true self.

May all beings be happy.

May all beings be at peace.

And may all beings be free.

Slowly,

When you are ready,

Start to bring yourself back to the present moment.

Notice three things you can hear.

Notice two things you can feel.

Notice one thing you can smell.

Start to bring movement back into your body.

And when you are ready,

You can open your eyes and return to your day.

In touch with your inner voice,

Your inner wisdom.

We all have this beautiful,

Intuitive wisdom within us.

We just need to allow it to be heard.

I loved this talk; it was exactly what I needed to hear right now. I do wish that the background music was quieter as it was somewhat distracting and competed with your voice, but the meditation itself was wonderful. Thank you.
