Namaste,
I'm Amber.
Welcome to this seven-minute meditation connecting to the energy of the heart,
The Anahata chakra,
Which means the unstruct sound.
The element of this chakra is air.
Here is the energetic center for inner joy,
Divine love,
And compassion.
Begin by sitting or lying down in a comfortable position.
Breathe deeply as you feel the body soften and the spine lengthen.
Become aware of your heartbeat and follow the pumping of your blood throughout your body.
Breathe easily into your lungs.
Place your left palm on the center of your chest now,
Followed by the right hand resting on top of the left.
Become aware of the area glistening around your heart,
A luminous emerald green.
As you inhale,
Feel the air travel through your hands,
Expand the lungs,
And touch your heart.
On the exhale,
Slowly reach your hands away from your chest,
Straightening the arms,
And feel as the emerald green light expands out of your chest,
Extending out past your hands and onwards.
Breathe in fully and return your hands back to your chest,
Receiving that fresh green light back into your heart space.
Return your breath,
Expand your lung capacity,
Empower your heart.
Imagining now in the center of your chest,
A soft pink lotus flower with 12 petals that are closed.
With each cycle of breath,
The flower begins to unfold,
One petal at a time,
Expanding outwards.
Inhale bliss,
Exhale bliss.
Inhale peace,
Exhale peace.
Inhale harmony,
Exhale harmony.
Inhale love,
Exhale love.
Inhale understanding,
Exhale understanding.
Inhale empathy,
Exhale empathy.
Inhale clarity,
Exhale clarity.
Your lotus is almost fully open now as we inhale purity,
And exhale purity.
Inhale unity,
Exhale unity.
Inhale compassion,
Exhale compassion.
Inhale kindness,
And exhale kindness.
And as the final petal begins to open,
Inhale forgiveness,
And exhale forgiveness.
Revealed before you is a luscious lotus flower,
All 12 petals,
Expansive and free.
Very slowly the lotus begins to travel down and through your body.
As it moves down,
You feel the lotus flower blessing your body,
Stopping at any areas that may need a little more love and healing.
Visualize the lotus rooting into the ground.
The lotus becomes a part of you.
As you inhale,
You are filled with all of the energy you need to grow.
As you exhale,
See the flower begin to get bigger,
Spreading its petals wider and wider.
Enjoy this moment.
Take as long as you need before drawing the lotus flower back up and into your heart space.
Taking a moment of gratitude now,
Reflecting on all of these feelings within the lotus and within you,
Integrating the energy of this meditation into your life.
When you need,
You can draw upon this image of the lotus flower and love within your heart,
And access that inner feeling of calm and peace anytime throughout your day.
Namaste.
