Welcome to the Bodhi Soul Guided Meditation Sessions.
This walking meditation involves slow,
Mindful steps with focused attention on your breath and bodily sensations.
Its aim is to cultivate a sense of awareness,
Presence,
And connection between yourself and your surrounding environment.
It's best practiced somewhere you're familiar with,
Where you can walk safely with a soft gaze and few distractions,
Like a quiet place in nature such as a park or even a quiet street.
Start by preparing to walk with your head up,
Your shoulders back,
And your chest expanded.
Start walking slowly,
One step at a time.
As you walk,
Allow yourself to feel each foot meeting the ground,
With your eyes focusing a soft gaze towards the ground out in front of you.
Allow yourself to embrace this slow pace.
As you walk,
Observe your breath,
Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
Maintain your awareness on your breath and your feet,
And as your thoughts and feelings arise,
Simply observe them.
Acknowledge them and bring your awareness back to your breath and your feet meeting the ground.
If your mind wanders,
Bring your awareness back to your breath and your feet meeting the ground beneath you.
We're coming towards the end of this walking meditation now.
If you wish to continue,
Please do so,
But if not,
Please stop here and bring your attention back to your surroundings.
Slowly open your eyes fully and bring your gaze up and out so you're completely aware of all that is happening around you.
When you're ready,
You can get back to the rest of your day or evening.
Thank you for joining me.
