Welcome to the August 2026 Sidekick Forecast.
Today we'll be using Oracle cards from the Moondeck.
This month,
We are rushing in headfirst.
There's a frenetic energy where we're bulldozing through an obstacle.
We may see a challenge,
But also know what we want to pursue.
Or sprinting forward,
But should remember that there's risk for some to trip and slip because of not looking where they're going.
It's a distinctly Aries energy of plowing ahead with momentum and easily missing important context clues.
For some people.
There's an element of putting ourselves first in a way that doesn't support the desired outcome.
Given that other people are left in the dust.
As far as our 2026 narrative goes,
We're in a large space like a warehouse,
As if we were sucked into our phone from that park back in July.
This hard cut is being chalked up to the loss of time.
Caused by disconnecting from the present moment.
We aren't even asking how we got transported here,
Because we've been hyper-focused on the chase and competition.
Flipping over our first card,
We've got movement.
The mantra reads,
Movement awakens my creative spirit.
I cracked up when I flipped this over because it's so on the nose.
Moving our bodies,
Propelling forward.
I'll note contextually that when I draw this card normally,
It's signaling encouragement to get up and move your body if you've been stagnant.
Back in July,
We had a period of extended time seated.
So August is a literal relaunch.
When we consider the movement card,
In the awakening peace.
In the mantra.
It highlights a connection between inspired action and creativity.
We can move our body,
And through that movement,
Release built-up energy and facilitate flow.
We're getting our mojo back,
And this is aptly timed after the slowdown in July.
Maybe this month you consider signing up for a class.
Going to a gym.
Getting out to walk more.
Doing an online exercise challenge.
You could get moving by yourself.
Or buddy up with a friend or loved one.
Whatever fills your cup the most.
And helps you completely recharge.
Whatever you choose should excite you and give you an energy boost afterwards.
Will need to channel that energy towards creation.
Whether literal,
Through crafts,
Arts,
Music.
Or intellectually.
Through drumming up ideas and brainstorming.
Once we have our output manifested as self-expression.
We move into the next card.
Sensuality.
With the mantra.
It is safe and beautiful to express my sensuality.
That's a tightly knit narrative in August with movement to awaken our creative spark of inspiration.
And then a call to express it.
There are many interpretations of this card.
With one being to tap into our five senses.
In other words,
Seeing,
Tasting,
Touching,
Smelling,
And hearing.
Another interpretation is seeking pleasure and joy for fulfillment.
To experience an energetic release.
And the satisfaction.
Of putting something new.
Out into the world.

Creating.
Expressing.
All the while leveraging your senses to create a tactile and inspired connection with the world.
