Hello and welcome to Rebalance with Bianca.

When we focus on being grateful,

It boosts our happiness and well-being.

Gratitude is like a muscle.

The more you use it,

The better it gets.

So find a comfortable seated or lying down position and let's connect with your centre of gratitude.

Allow your eyes to find a spot just above your head to focus on.

This will begin to activate an alpha state and help the mind calm down.

Once you have found a spot,

Count down in your mind from 10 to 1.

And when you reach 1,

Gently close your eyes.

Taking a beautiful and slow breath in.

Bringing your awareness to your breath.

Taking another beautiful breath in.

And exhaling.

To explore the sensations of your breath and your body.

As you allow your breath to become slower and more rhythmic,

Feel the rising and falling of your chest with each breath.

Beautiful.

Now let your body get more comfortable.

And imagine a beautiful wave of relaxation moving over your head.

Allow this relaxation to move into the little muscles next to your eyes.

And then down into your jaw.

Letting your jaw drop and your lips soften.

Take a beautiful and deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Take this relaxation down your neck and into your shoulders.

Letting your shoulders drop down.

Feeling a wave of relaxation moving from your shoulders.

Into your arms.

Perhaps you notice them feeling a little heavier.

As you relax a little more.

With each breath you take,

You naturally begin to feel a little more relaxed.

And if you don't notice it,

That's okay.

Trust that as you continue,

Your body will naturally return to a relaxed state that is right for you.

Right now.

Taking a deep and slow breath in.

And exhaling.

Bringing your focus to your chest.

And allow the relaxation to move down from here into your stomach.

Consciously let your stomach muscles soften.

And let the next wave of relaxation move through your hips.

Down your thighs.

Letting the muscles soften and relax.

As this relaxation moves through your knees.

Down your calves.

And deep into your feet.

Take a slow and deep breath in.

And exhale.

Bring to mind a person or thing that you are most thankful for.

It could be a person,

A pet,

A beautiful day or something that makes you feel happy.

Feel it or have a clear sense of that feeling.

Allow this sense or feeling to grow.

Feel it getting stronger and more clearer.

Where in your body is the feeling strongest?

It could be your chest.

It could be your heart or solar plexus.

And now imagine connecting with this feeling.

Imagine it expanding out.

And radiating out from this area in your body.

Imagine it,

Sense it and feel it until it's like a beautiful aura around you.

Strong and clear.

Then take a breath in.

And repeat to yourself,

I breathe in gratitude.

And as you exhale,

Imagine the aura of this gratitude doubling in strength.

Allow it to grow and expand around you.

Imagine a sense of pleasure and satisfaction.

Noticing more and more the things that make you feel happy,

Delighted and content.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus on the feelings of being pleased.

Letting them fill your mind and your heart.

And if you can't quite clearly feel them,

That's okay.

The more you do this,

The more your mind will begin to focus.

Notice and acknowledge the things that you appreciate.

With this meditation,

You have sent an instruction to your subconscious to notice more of the good.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes and take a beautiful and fresh breath in.

You may want to repeat to yourself,

I now choose to look for the things that make me feel pleased.
