Day five.
Building mental strength.
As you settle in to a comfortable position,
Gently close your eyes and start to bring your awareness to your breath.
Feel the coolness as you inhale and the warmth as you exhale.
And with each breath,
Imagine roots extending from the base of your spine,
Reaching deep into the earth below you.
Visualize yourself being supported and anchored by these roots,
Grounding you in the present moment.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Allow any tension or stress to melt away.
Releasing it with each exhale that you take,
Focusing on the sensations of your breath,
Moving in of your body,
Bringing a sense of calm and clarity to your mind.
With each inhale,
Invite peace and serenity into your being.
Picture a golden light surrounding you,
Filling you with a sense of tranquility and inner strength.
Let go of any distractions or worries,
Allowing yourself to be fully present in this moment of stillness and peace.
Stay connected to your breath,
Letting it guide you back to center whenever your mind starts to wander.
Trusting in the power of your breath to ground you and bring you back to a place of balance and harmony.
Take this time to nourish your mind,
Body,
And spirit,
Knowing that you have the strength and resilience to face whatever lies ahead.
When you feel ready,
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment,
Wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes.
Gently open your eyes and carry this sense of groundedness and peace with you as you continue your day.
