Good morning.

Today I would love you to think about your interactions with other people.

That doesn't just have to be people within your home,

Within your workplace,

But people that you might meet in the street,

Perhaps someone in the coffee shop,

Walking the dog.

But to consider those interactions and think about how valuable they are.

For some,

When they're walking the dog,

If they live alone,

It might be the only interaction they have that day.

I'd love for you to make that a positive one because not only will they feel the warmth of that interaction,

You too will feel the benefit.

These interactions,

No matter how small or potentially how inconsequential they feel,

Make up our lives.

The small talk between your coffee being made isn't so small as you might imagine.

I'm not talking about false conversation or feeling time for the sake of it.

But just to consider asking someone how their day is going can mean so much to somebody,

Especially if their day isn't going so well.

This can help shift their perspective and even shift your perspective also to help you feel more connected.

We are humans who love to be part of a tribe.

Connection is very central to our well being.

So try it today.

See who you might drop a smile to say good morning to.

These small things are so important and could make someone's day.

Let me know how you get on.

Let me know how this feels for you.

Have a good day.

That sounded real. I look forward to talking to people. I enjoy making that connection and put a smile on my face. It could just be a few words and it makes my day go nicer. Thank you for this.

Loved that so much. I am one who values greatly these moments of conection and community… w/the dog, the barista, the person walking near me on the sidewalk. Connection IS community. Little frissons of joyful moments… yours for the making. Thank you.

I was led to listen from the cute puppies in pic ..and I’m glad I did . I care for a few peoples pets and walk the dogs 🐕 daily and always smile at passersby’s ! Many times that brings a small conversation and I wish them well . I have the same philosophy! Love this.. and great voice! I wish I had a English accent .. I have a Long Island accent! Cawfee shop ! ☕️ 😹 good to discover you here! Ty🌼
