Welcome.
Find a comfortable position.
Make sure that for the next few minutes,
You can be as calm and as protected from the outside world as you can.
Just start by closing your eyes.
Or if you don't feel comfortable doing so,
Just find an object to focus your gaze on.
And start by taking a deep breath in.
With your eyes comfortably closed,
Begin to focus all your thoughts and attention on your breathing.
Take a moment to be really aware of how it feels.
As in your own time,
You breathe in,
And you breathe out.
Focusing all your thoughts and feeling on the sensation of air filling your lungs,
And then releasing.
Imagine that every time you breathe in,
You are creating a sense of calmness,
Relaxation,
And a feeling of comfort.
And every time you breathe out,
You are releasing any stress,
Any tension,
And any anxiety that you may be holding on to.
Leaving the day behind.
Leaving anyone you normally share your life with behind,
Just for these next few minutes.
You are just here,
Now.
Perhaps your breath has a color to it.
Each breath in has a soothing warm color,
Which flows down and around your body.
And when you breathe out,
That color changes,
As you let go,
As you release all the stresses,
All the tension,
And any concerns.
It's as if each breath gives your body and mind permission to begin to let go,
To begin to become more and more relaxed.
Knowing that you are here,
Today,
Now,
To focus on you,
On your dreams,
And on your vision.
So you start to breathe,
Release,
And let go.
Allowing the breath now to flow effortlessly in your body.
Not paying attention to how your breath flows in your body,
You just allow your body to naturally have it flow as your breath comes and goes.
Breathe,
Release,
Let go.
If any thoughts or feelings or images enter your mind,
You just acknowledge them,
And then return your attention to the sound of my voice.
This is your time.
Lists and tasks can wait.
And as you relax more and more,
You once more breathe,
Release,
And let go.
And as you become more aware of your body now,
You can feel little roots growing from under your feet,
Under your body.
Growing down into the ground.
Going down,
Anchoring you.
Getting nourishment and grounding from Mother Earth.
And it goes down,
All the way down,
Through the layers of the Earth,
Down to the core of the Earth.
And it wraps itself around,
All the roots around the core,
As you feel deeply grounded,
As you're able to release and let go.
And as your mind travels back up,
You can feel little branches and leaves growing from the top of your head,
The top of your body.
Going up,
Growing up towards the sun,
Towards the light,
Towards the sky.
You can feel really light as you grow up.
And wrap yourself around the moon,
The stars,
The universe.
And as your mind travels back down to your body,
You know you can totally breathe,
Release,
Let go.
Becoming calmer and calmer,
Becoming more and more relaxed.
You know that you are now exactly where you are meant to be.
So you can focus on yourself,
Your time,
Your dreams.
You now feel grounded,
Connected to what is more for you.
And as you take in one more breath in,
And one more breath out,
You allow your roots and your branches to unwrap themselves and come back to you.
Slowly coming back to you,
Feeling whole again.
Able to relax,
Breathe,
Release and let go.
As your breath comes back to its natural rhythm,
You start to become more aware of where you are,
Of your body.
Noticing how calmer and more relaxed you might feel.
And as you slowly wake up and come back to the room,
You might want to gently wrinkle your fingers,
Wrinkle your toes.
Take a deeper breath in and a deeper breath out,
Knowing that you are fully awake,
Aware of your body,
Of what is above you and below you,
On your left and on your right,
As all sounds return to their true perspective.
Being fully wide awake.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Eyes open,
Wide awake.
