Welcome.
Thank you for being here and for choosing to make yourself a priority today.
This is your mandala card of the day,
A gentle pause to breathe,
Reflect,
And explore.
Before we begin,
I invite you to have a journal or blank page nearby,
Along with a pen.
This session includes time for journaling.
For now,
Allow yourself to settle in.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to figure out,
Just this moment and this breath.
Let's begin by settling into this moment.
Gently close your eyes if that feels comfortable.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Let your hands rest wherever they feel at ease.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
Take a gentle exhale out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale slowly and exhale fully.
With each inhale,
Breathe in lightness,
Warmth,
And love.
With each exhale,
Release tension and stress and worry.
One more time,
Breathing in steady and calm and breathing out long and soft.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Notice the quiet space you've created.
Notice that you are here,
Present,
Fully aware,
Supported,
Loved.
The theme for today is pause and savour.
Life moves quickly.
Between responsibilities,
Conversations,
Notifications,
And to-do lists,
It's easy to move through the day without fully noticing it.
In that rush,
We can overlook the little things that quietly make life beautiful.
A kind word,
A moment of laughter,
The warmth of sunlight through a window,
Taking time to walk through the trees.
These small moments may seem ordinary,
But they are often where joy lives.
Research shows that practicing gratitude can significantly increase our sense of happiness and well-being.
Not because life suddenly becomes perfect,
But because our attention shifts.
When we pause,
Even briefly,
To fully appreciate what is already here,
Something inside us softens.
We move from rushing to receiving.
From striving to noticing.
And in that space,
Gratitude naturally grows.
I've found that when I slow down enough to truly notice a simple moment,
Like the sound of birds outside,
The warmth of a cup in my hands,
A kind moment or interaction,
It gently changes my perspective.
It reminds me that beauty is not always somewhere far away.
Often,
It's right here.
Pause.
Notice.
Savor.
Joy can be found hiding in small moments we might otherwise pass by.
And today,
You can give yourself permission to experience it.
Now I invite you to turn inward and explore this theme more deeply through journaling.
Your journal prompt today is,
What small moment can I pause to notice and appreciate?
What is there in front of me now,
In this moment,
That I can truly enjoy?
Allow your thoughts to flow without editing or judgment.
Simply let whatever wants to be expressed come onto the page.
It's time to wrap up your journaling and bring this to a close.
As we come to the end of this practice,
I invite you to place one hand gently on your heart.
Take a slow breath in.
And a soft breath out.
I'll share an affirmation now.
You're welcome to repeat it silently or out loud,
Allowing the words to land in your body.
I slow down and notice the beauty around me.
Gratitude fills the quiet spaces of my life.
Small moments bring me joy.
I savor the goodness already here.
Take another deep breath,
Feeling grounded,
Supported,
And present.
Notice the softness within you.
Thank you for giving yourself this day and this moment to pause and savor.
I hope you carry this sense of appreciation with you as you move throughout your day.
Thank you.
