Aloha.
I komo mai.
Hello and welcome to our Hoʻoponopono meditation.
Hoʻoponopono prayer has been practiced by the Hawaiian people for centuries.
This is a prayer,
A ceremony of connection and repair.
Traditionally,
The Hoʻoponopono prayer was practiced whenever there was a break in society.
Whenever there was discord between relations,
Neighbors,
This prayer is practiced in community to repair the fractured relationship and bring the relationships into harmony and order,
To make perfect the pono pono in the Hoʻoponopono prayer.
So take a moment to get settled in.
Relax.
You may close your eyes if you would like.
And listen to the sound of my voice as I repeat this prayer,
The simple four lines of this prayer that so profoundly can change your life.
This prayer can be practiced anytime there is discord between family,
Friends,
Lovers,
Family members,
Coworkers,
Or anyone.
This prayer can be practiced for issues in the recent past as well as the long past.
Hurts from childhood,
Hurts from previous relationships,
Hurts long past can be repaired by the Hoʻoponopono prayer.
But most importantly,
The Hoʻoponopono prayer can act as a bridge to repair the relationship with the self.
For it is our own selves that need forgiveness the most.
The first line of the prayer is,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
And that's it.
It's simple yet profound.
I'm sorry for the hurt that I have caused you.
Please forgive me for the wrong that I have committed towards you.
Thank you for accepting this forgiveness.
I love you for we are all one.
