Welcome to this meditation for challenging or difficult emotions,

A way for you to hold space for what it is that you feel,

Without judging or shaming or blaming,

A space for you to process as you observe what comes up from deep within or even on the surface.

When you're ready,

Getting into your comfortable meditative posture,

Seated or lying down,

Slowly close or lower your eyes.

Begin by taking a few breaths in through your nose,

Exhaling out of your mouth.

As you breathe,

Bring your mind into the present moment by focusing on your breath,

Controlling the inhalations,

Letting go on the exhalations.

After your next round,

Let your breath return back to its natural rhythm,

Letting go on the exhalations.

Aware of your body,

So you can simply be with yourself and allow what comes up,

Without reacting to it,

Asking yourself,

How am I feeling in this moment,

Right now?

Can you identify the emotion state you're experiencing right now?

Maybe it's sadness,

Or boredom,

Or anger.

See if you can just allow some space as you sit with this emotion and watch if there are any other ones that come up.

Watching with compassion how you speak to yourself as you watch.

Be kind,

Just allow whatever comes up to arise.

Reminding yourself,

You are not your emotions,

These are states,

Temporary states of being,

Of believing and perceiving.

Holding this space for yourself to watch as these emotions pass through you.

Taking a deep breath when you want to release any accumulation of tension.

If the emotions become too overwhelming,

Return presence back to your breath.

Awareness of the inflow and outflow.

Make your awareness of your breath,

Broader and greater than your awareness of your feelings or emotions as you need.

Create a space of unconditional love.

It's in your power to do so.

Provide to yourself whatever forgiveness or words of encouragement,

Support and understanding that you might need.

What is it that you need to hear or feel?

You have the power to show yourself unconditional love,

Compassion,

Or forgiveness.

Try not to suppress any emotions,

For they'll come back with a greater force.

By accepting and allowing where you are in this season of your life,

You hold the power for yourself to heal,

For yourself to be whole.

As you process your emotion states and feelings,

You'll find more and more inner space,

Inner ease.

You'll find clarity.

Breathe in.

Exhale.

Breathe in.

Exhale.

Breathe in.

Honoring yourself,

Giving yourself this space and time to just be in a loving way,

In a mindful way.
