Welcome to this practice,

Submerging your consciousness into ocean consciousness using Yoganidra.

When you're ready,

Finding a position that's comfortable lying down,

Preferably on your back,

Your hands are alongside of your body,

Palms facing up in a receptive state,

Your feet are slightly apart,

Your head and your neck,

Your spine are straight.

If you need to pause the recording to gather any props such as extra blankets or pillows,

Dimming your lights,

Preparing your space so that you can go into a state of release of deep relaxation.

Your body will go to sleep while your mind remains completely aware,

Eyes are softly closed or lowered,

Aware of the space that you're in,

Aware of the surface that your body is upon,

Noticing your breath moving in and out of your body,

Your life force.

Notice it's natural rhythm,

It's ebbing and flowing like ocean waves advancing on the beach,

Then receding to help to get your body into a deeper state of relaxation.

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

Exhale slowly,

Maybe through your nose or your mouth.

A comfortable slow breath in through your nose,

A longer,

Slower breath out.

Invite in a few more rounds of this breath on your own.

Relaxing your body into the present moment.

After your next exhalation,

Let your breath return back to its natural state,

Aware of your breath.

Imagine there's nothing but space in your mind behind your forehead.

The yogis call this the Akash,

The space of the mind,

The Chittakash,

Chitta meaning the mind,

Akash meaning space.

Gaze into the space of your mind,

Mentally create the intention,

My body goes to sleep,

My consciousness aware.

Mentally whisper this intention to yourself,

My body goes to sleep,

My consciousness aware.

Moving into a state of relaxation with your body,

Your consciousness travels around your body.

As we put your body to sleep,

Just travel with your mind,

With my voice,

Moving your awareness to your right hand,

Noting your right thumb,

Second finger,

Third,

Fourth,

Fifth finger,

The back of your right hand,

Elbow,

Upper arm,

Shoulder,

Right hip,

Top of the right foot,

Sole of the foot,

Right big toe,

Second toe,

Third,

Fourth,

Fifth toe.

Travel your consciousness to the left side,

Your left thumb,

Second finger,

Fifth,

Back of left hand,

Top of the left foot,

Sole of the left foot,

Left big toe,

Second toe.

Travel your consciousness to the back of your body,

The backs of heels,

Backs of legs,

Left shoulder blade,

Tip of your nose,

Right nostril,

Left nostril,

Right cheek,

Left cheek,

Upper jaw,

Upper chest.

Become aware of your whole body,

Your entire body.

Aware of your whole body relaxing,

Softening.

Notice your breath moving in and out of your belly.

Your belly rises with your inhalation,

Falls back down with your exhalation,

Like an ocean wave advancing towards the beach,

Receding away from the beach.

Just you in your consciousness,

Aware of the movements of your breath at your belly.

Mentally,

Begin to count your breath back from 20 to 1.

Your body becomes heavier,

Your body is going backward.

If you happen to lose consciousness,

And then become aware,

Start counting back from 20 to 1 again.

Intend that your consciousness is like a wave,

The wave of an ocean,

Represents your true full potential,

Your universal self,

Your cosmic self,

Then gently recedes back into it,

Receding back into the full of the ocean.

Your consciousness slowly submerges into your deeper unconscious self.

Every breath you take,

Submerging you into the quiet,

Dark,

Unconscious self.

As you fall into the deep ocean,

You may recognize old memories,

Old memories,

You may find a hidden talent,

Or a hidden potential that you hadn't yet noticed.

Go with the flow in your unconsciousness,

Riding your own wave through the deep unconscious self.

If you notice any resistance or trying to go in the opposite direction of your flow,

Notice that.

See if you can relax into the space,

Into this deep unknowing,

The natural flow of yourself.

You're harmonizing with yourself as you allow yourself to go with your flow.

Your subtle body,

Your subtle energy is releasing old imprints,

Old patterns,

Helping to release it from your physical body,

Releasing any stress or conditionings that no longer serve you.

Your consciousness,

As it merges into your ocean unconscious self,

A cosmic universe unto yourself,

Ebbing in your own nature,

The way your consciousness bobs up to the surface of the ocean.

You see beautiful sunlight shining down upon you,

Brilliant light,

The rays of light dance on the ocean like diamonds sparkling in the night.

This is your true universal self,

Fully illuminated,

Filled with love,

Joy,

Enthusiasm.

Feel the radiance of yourself,

Your deep self,

The ocean consciousness that is you.

You feel moments of oneness with the ocean.

You feel one with the radiant consciousness that you are.

Relax into the journey,

Relax into the waves as you explore the depths of your unconscious self.
